Mess it only getting around 400k - 500k up from civilian BB, summer CBB remains pointless
|
Quote:
It's beating last summer and rivaling the Gary Busey year. And they spent only 20% of the fee that they spent for the Jan series, so this series must be a huge success for C5. |

The amount they paid them + being half shorter + Other House cost= CBB (this series anyway) was cheaper than BBUK. C5 are rolling in the money at the momenta according to a Broadcast article about money. |

Celebrity Big Brother: 1.8m / 9.4%

Channel 5 (exc. +1)

Celebrity Big Brother - excluding +1 - 1.13m
Compared to last summer each Saturday got 910k, 1.04m, 940k, 820k all including +1 so quite an improvement especially for being on at 10:30pm But last Saturday got 1.35m including +1 at 9pm so being later still hurt it |
Last night got 1.33m excl +1, so I'd assume 1.5m with +1, it's not too bad. Sundays have seemed to have done pretty poorly this year for BB17 too.
It is already however higher than last years 2nd Sunday which got 1.31m incl +1. Which is good... Now it's Monday, we should get the weekend ratings with +1 hopefully, already we have Fridays: Eviction: Celebrity Big Brother (9pm): 1.7m (9%) We won't get Saturdays though because Broadcast won't publish that because they never publish ratings from 10pm onwards. |
Where's the officials at?
|
First few officials. Will put the overnights in brackets.
Thurs 28th Launch- 2.71m (2.36m) Friday 29th- 2.13m (1.58m) Sat 30th- 2.00m (1.35m) Sunday 31st- 2.11m (1.50m) After first 4 days: 2.24m incl +1 Wow, some great timeshifts there! |
Wow, those are great.
|
Quote:
Timeshifts 550k-650k! If lets say timeshifts end up getting 500k nightly, then the ratings of 1.6-1.8m we have been seeing will be at 2.1m-2.3m every day! |
Really good!
That's 300K up on CBB16 first 4 days which got 1.94! |
Bad for last night.... clearly dented by the Olympics which got 7m during BB was on.
9pm Reality Shows - inc. +1 channels Eden (C4): 790,000 / 3.5% series low Celebrity Big Brother (C5): 1.4m / 6.4% Source: Broadcast That 1.4m will most likely be ~1.8-1.9m. That's terrible for Eden. |
It's a shame because it was a really good episode as well.
|
Should still be up on last year which got 1.54M with +1.
Last nights episode was great, I think with Lewis most likely going tonight it will be more enjoyable to watch as I can't stand him after the Heavy D thing and everything. |
I think this series has potential to be amazing, because there's only a few housemates who are running it at times and there probably not going to last long.

Saira and Heavy don't really stand of chance of going by the Tellymix poll:
Heavy D - 1200 Saira Khan -1079 Bear - 905 Lewis - 617 So definitely between Bear and Lewis. |

I reckon Bear and Lewis will be safe :( |

Not always in the final though. It would be annoying if they are safe. |
Channel 5 (exc. +1)
Celebrity Big Brother: 1.52m (7.2%) Should make it 1.7m with +1, big jump from Monday. |

Including +1:
Endeavour (Repeat): 2m (9.5%) Celebrity Big Brother: 1.7m (7.9%) An Hour to Save Your Life: 1.5m (7.2%) First Dates: 940k (5.7%) The Job Interview: 706k (3.3%) Borderline: 380k (2.1%) Good rating for CBB. Ouch at Job Interview and especially Borderline! |
It deserves crap ratings for such a diabolical series.
|
Including +1:
Celebrity Big Brother: 1.6m (6.9%) CBB continues to post solid ratings even up against Olympics which peaked at 8.1m at the time of the diving which aired at same time, despite CBB not being well received it's doing very well. I'd predict tonight being at around 1.7m and then the same for the eviction. Interesting to note, the last big Olympic clash which got the same sort of peak (around 8m), had CBB fall to 1.4m on Monday, so it seems that 200k more people were willing to watch BB last night. Built up an audience since Monday? Strange. It beat both C4 and BBC2... c4 Britain's Benefit Tenants: 1.1m (5%) bbc2: Versailles: 961k (4.2%) |
Including +1:
The Cruise (Repeat): 1.8m (9.2%) Celebrity Big Brother: 1.7m (8.2%) 999: What's Your Emergency?: 1.4m (7%) Paul O'Grady's Animal Orphans (Repeat): 1.3m (6.4%) Great for CBB and healthy share. |
Renee's immunity bringing in the viewers :clap1:
