the biggest difference in their situations, as i see it anyway, is that Andy was ostracised by the group and J was there for him - andy talks it out, whereas Jason is choosing to ostracise himself whilst he tries to figure out what he's done. he's a man of great integrity, and he's beating himself up trying to see what he has done 'wrong' so he can face up to it and correct it. he's so wrapped up in that process Andy can't help and has given him his space.

i don't see that he was bitching about J's accent - he was making his own observations about the brighton accent and how it sits in his own head. besides, most of us have had friends we really like but whose voice, when complaining or down, we can find irritating. that doesn't make A a Brutus anymore than it makes J a bumbling moron.

All of the above

Bang on right! And slagging him off in the diary room.

Ugh Tisha in the task. The only point of that was to stop Andy and Jason from getting to the final. :nono:

If I don't, it's not through lack of intelligence, as Andy would probably claim.

But Jason was only up for eviction last week, Andy had been by his side since day one, in fact he even joked to Jason how his ex entering the house could change the dynamics of their close friendship and that he would fight to win him back.

And there isn't anything left of the bedroom clique, it's scattered to the wind. It's every man for himself now and Andy was just having fun and enjoying feeling free and being accepted after Latetsha and Ryan had gone.

I know you've never been a big supporter of Andy so I'm not challenging you, I can see how it can look to some compared to others.
But people who have been massive Andy supporters, you mustn't let his detractors influence you until you've at least watched the episode that followed the party.

He might as well nominate him. He's already been blasted and turned against for not wet nursing a big ass man when he'd tried all day to be there for him and it was obvious Jason wasn't going to snap out of it no matter what he said or did.
He was ready for that party after being with someone who was depressing the life out of him all day. I loved a tipsy Andy and it was a fun night overall.

I just apply logic to this...we've seen both Andy and Jason be there for each other but not at every turn and not constantly holding each other's hands.
Andy appeared to sit with Jason throughout the day keeping him company and suggested ways to lift his mood. And I'm really not knocking Jason when I say this, I empathise with how he must feel, but if someone refuses to try and refuses to listen to any advice then there's only so much you can be expected to do for them and abstaining from the party just to listen to Jason moaning isn't fare ....Andy shouldn't be expected to do that.

That's exactly what he was expected to do though by many....it's pathetic how quickly people will turn on a HM they profess to like just to deflect attention away from the behaviour of their favourite.

hot2go 18-07-2016 01:30 PM

I like both immensely but they def don't stand by each other's side in every situation. When Andy had the whole house against him the night he stuck up for Jason over Lateysha and her bitches calling him a game player, Jason didn't stand by Andy, in fact he sat and listened to Alex who accused Andy of talking rubbish.

When Hughie targeted Andy in front of everyone then followed him to the kitchen to twist the knife and intimidate him, Jason was in the kitchen and said nothing.

It doesn't make them bad it just means some things are considered best left to sort through by yourself.
Andy clearly was trying to lift Jason out if his black mood throughout the day and I'm sure would have encouraged him to join the party. What more can you do.

I'm happy that andy enjoyed himself at the party,I have no issue with that,I also don't think Jason was being miserable at party time ,he said in the DR he didn't dance because "I'm like a transformer running out of batteries" so he just let the others get on and enjoy it,plus I think Jason probably needed that alone time and probably like me and others LIKE to be alone sometimes,it doesn't mean someone is miserable,Jason would have been too embarrassed to dance, some people are, that doesn't make him miserable,I just hope Andy is the friend to him that Jason has been to him, everyone can have down days no matter how big they are,I don't dislike Andy, just beginning to question a few things.I did think his impression of Jason in the DR a tad unamusing but maybe that's just me.

That's a very interesting concept ...imagine if Andy nominates Jason or if Jason nominates Andy....or they nominate each other and are both up for eviction.:laugh:

Who would you vote to save ?

hot2go 18-07-2016 01:45 PM

I like how Jason is playing the game but I'm also under no illusion, him and Andy are not vulnerable housemates who won't defend themselves ....Jason vowed he would never nominate Charlie but he did, and rightfully so too. Jason is also the one who rocked the house and the BB studio when he annhialated Lateysha...some are saying they don't like the new upbeat Andy but personally I don't like the down beat Jason. It doesn't suit him to labour for too long over being disliked even though I understand how awful that would feel.
If any one has the right to feel sorry for themselves because of the crowd outside its Laura and she doesn't feel remotely sorry for herself, in fact she's told the general public to go and f-ck themselves....which I have to admit is her finest hour, made me laugh.

hot2go 18-07-2016 01:48 PM

Don't forget Andy stood by Jason when Lateysha got thrown out. Not even Jayne did that and Jason had just saved her arse for her.

Exactly! I seen all that too and did I blast Jason? No. Because grown men don't need other grown men to babysit them all of the time and even friends don't always like everything about each other.

Yeh I think that's key here....two blokes are very different to two girls or two younger housemates.....if it was Laura and Evelyn then maybe one would give up the party for the other...but, saying that, I actually don't think they would :laugh: I don't even think Laura likes Evelyn

I do recall when it was the beach party divide that Jason clearly said he didn't want to go anyway because he's not a party person. Which is not hard to imagine really.

But he has been....:conf: look how he stood by him when all the others were lambasting him about Laytesha. He risked being ostracised all over again when he was at last getting on better with most of the HM's. That took guts and a real sense of loyalty. If Jason wasn't in the mood to party, or doesn't like partying fair enough, but I don't like that Andy is being blasted because he DID want to party. (not by you, i know).
As for the DR impression - If everything is weighed up, the support Andy has given him is all for nothing, just brushed away, because he partied and did a Brighton accent while more than a little tipsy. That is how fickle and petty people can be and that's just plain sad imo.

I see that Jet but it could also be said it is fickle to be a fan of someone one day then not the next day just because they have an off day,I like Andy and Jasons friendship,I hope it is ok,Andy is still the better housemate than the others apart from Jason,I don't dislike him I was just questioning it.I think Jason himself was happy for them all he just didn't want to party himself, nothing wrong with that imo.I'm sure they will be fine, but I do feel sorry that Jason has had to listen to Latesha blasting him today, seems very unfair.:wavey:

Who has done that? I only see people liking Andy better than they did before. I haven't seen any posts saying they are no longer going to support Jason, but I've seen plenty saying they aren't going to support Andy any more. (You just said you were questioning him which is fair enough.)
I myself said I was a bit disappointed in Jason but I still liked him, but seeing the vitriol heaped on Andy all day I thought if you can drop my fave HM like that who you professed to like for so little then to hell with it!
I haven't seen the Laytesha thing...so she's going to be on tonight? I could do without having to see her gob again ffs :fist:

I think it's a video link clearly aimed at Jason,i think BB need to give their heads a wobble surely they could have picked a different ex housemate and why are they so hell bent on pissing Jason off:shrug: as for Andy I am sure they will be ok again.

That was unfair. Why aren't they sending Natalie to tell Jayne or Hughie some home truths? I thought not.
