I think Ann's faith is an easy target . And I don't know where you've been but people have clearly took the pee out of Ann being on her own , I'm not naming names .

If we're going to get personal about hm's then maybe we could ask why Shane J can't keep a partner / bf ? hmm interesting  .

I don't think her religion has been used against her, I'd say the opposite is true, that people have criticised her for her views despite her religion and others have used her religion as a way of defending her - it tends to only be brought up when people are excusing the criticisms of her. People are simply saying that her religion isn't an excuse for her views, and as has already been acknowledged she converted to it because of her views rather than allowing her views to be dictated by her religion, so I think it's fair to point that out.

There's been a mixture of people yes defending Ann and her religious views but some people have bashed her religion a bit .

And like I said they've made digs at her being single and unmarried with no kids .

Some people have claimed she has had no life because she is a religious spinster

Indeed

He was always going to be Courtney a lot.

I found it a bit odd though, how he dressed up and then...miraculously, a task was announced where he would obviously be best dressed as Courtney than himself.

He has been Courtney on random nights that weren't eviction nights though?

Last week he did say that he would probably dress up on Monday, when Ann asked him.

At the start, it seemed to be every 2/3 days. He also probably feels he has to do Courtney on eviction nights, as he went in as Courtney and honestly, Courtney is probably the only reason he is on the show. Given thats what he is known for.

My husband did it one night to take the piss, for one of the staff members birthdays. Him and 2 mates dressed as women and danced on the pool table. He looked so convincing as a woman that he was chatted up by a guy he actually knew. He then followed the guy into the loos and stood next to him at the urinal and had a piss. The guy was utterly mortified.

Oddly enough, my husband looked quite like Diana Ross.

I think sometimes drag is meant to take the piss out of women. All the drag queens around here do it like that, they look like pantomime dames tbh. I did not know that drag elsewhere was about actually looking like women, rather than caricatures. As such I got quite a shock when I saw Courtney tbh

There's **** all to do in that house when there aren't tasks, If he wants to drag up to burn a few hours away when I don't see the problem with that.

It seems a big desperate to try to make out that a drag queen doing drag is in someway bad or attention seeking.

Marches 31-01-2018 02:12 PM

Shane just says everything he thinks people want to hear it’s so predictable and boring nothing about him is real

And like I don’t want to dislike him lmao I really don’t he’s just giving me very little reason to like him he’s so transparent

Ive not seen him dress as the pantomime dame apart from eviction night since the 1st week when he was trying to get in Andrews underpants

Facts that you refuse to acknowledge don't become none existent.

Kazanne 31-01-2018 04:23 PM

I have a friend Danny who sometimes becomes Sara, he is lovely , great on nights out and very striking when he is dressed up,he has no chip on his shoulder about the way he is,or about what other people think of him,the only thing that saddens him is his son does not like him as 'Sara' so for me Shane J can dress up all he likes,no problem, but he cannot 'dress up' his personality and from what I saw and heard from him he was not so nice,so people need to get past the drag queen bit and take a good look at his personality.

Marsh. 31-01-2018 04:43 PM

So would a black person who is tired of outdated racism be accused of having a "chip on their shoulder"?

Okay so I've had this theory from like day 2 or 3 but I don't think I've posted it here yet. I have a feeling that because she's really only famous as a drag queen, her contract might have a higher fee for days that Courtney actually makes it onto the show. Would explain why she's very strict on dressing up for evictions, and why she dressed for that Spice Girls task. Production probably negotiated with her to make sure she's dressed for certain tasks, and they give her a slight heads up the morning of.

That's why at the beginning you saw Shane really trying to plan out his Courtney days, but then seem to slightly forget about it in the middle, and now he's back to making sure Courtney makes it on the show since there are only a few days left.

Over in the states, her friend Alaska was on this 'Scared Famous' show not too long ago, and I know she had to be in drag just about everyday that they filmed. She even had to show up late, halfway through the first episode, because Alaska came as Justin and they made her get ready first

Hmm there might be something to this. Like..hes been told he has to dress up every now and again? I think BB definitely told him to drag up yesterday, as it was too good timing for him to finish doing courtney and then suddenly a task was announced for the spice girls thing where obviously he would have had to dress up but it would have taken like 4 hours

And haha yess the timing would be too coincidental,

Yeah, I'd imagine he had a rough schedule of days that he'd have to dress up like launch p2, evictions, and the finale. After that they probably just give him a heads up for certain tasks that they'd like to see Courtney in like the guys talent show and the girl band task.

2 - He's retired, Courtney isn't
