The house looks so cool!!!!!! :bigsmile:. I cant wait to see it on tv on launch night now hehe :bigsmile:. And that rumour about the bath being in the living area is true and the fridge being in the garden is true too. I cant believe they have done that. And I am glad they didnt put the cooker in the bedroom.

The oven is in the bedroom! There are no pics yet but it isn't anywhere in the house so far.

The theme is confusing

old -telepone/scales/clothes dryer
mordern - mordern art work, fridge, diary room corridor
cubist- kitchen
retro -lounge bath area, big lips
stylish- outside where the fridge is

It cant be as they would of showed it like they have done with the bath and fridge.

I think the theme surreality. With the rubber chickens, miss match furniture, kitchen appliances in different room and bath in the living room.

The bedroom pics haven't been released yet. The oven must be in the bedroom.

Wheel Chair Accessible?

I think so because there is a ramp into the kitchen and another ramp out into the garden!

Big Brother houses always have ramps. It doesn't mean it's wheelchair accesible. For it to be safe for wheelchair uses there would need to be more rails, wider doors - possibly automatic, and lower work surfaces.

Yeah I know but I dont think there will be a cooker in the bedroom. Thats just stupid to put it there and is unhygenic.

Ams91 you could be right ive notced the ramp on the kitchen but not out in the garden. Havent they always done that though but ramps in places when there wasent any wheelchairs people in the house. I am sure they did that last year and in Big Brother 5 or 6. Another thing is I dont think there will be a wheelchair person as the stairs are still there leading up to the house. So that would make it difficult for the wheelchair person to get in the house.

The cooker is in the bedroom. If you are so sure it isn't please point out where it is in the house pics.

i see your point, but i read that there are rotating rooms in the house which would make it easy for the person to enter through the backdoor. I saw the ramps in the previous shows but this year i think they are:
1 more prominant
2 located at all entry/ exits
3 look too be created for utilization not for design purposes.

I thought the same thing when I saw the ramps. And there is a yellow oven in the bedroom. Honest!

A few things ive noticed in the pictures.

There seems to be six microphone holders beside the pool in the garden. Usually they install one for each housemate.

There is a black square beside the Diary Room door. It looks to small to be a mirror and an awkward place to install a plasma. There is door directly to the right of that square. My guess is that it might be a window into the room that the white door leads too.

There is a red circle and dot printed on the floor right next to the dining table. I could be wring but i think there is more to that red dot then meets the eye because it doesn't really fit in with any of the house decor. The only thing i can come up with is that it is a marker to show where housemates cannot pass when a housemate is being evicted.

If you look at the picture showing us the blue phone, and if you look into the far right hand background you can see a white door. According to the Daily Star's house plan this should lead to a punishment room of some sort.

There is a huge big black decking going from one end of the Garden to the other, it has no visible ramp and would be extremely difficult for a person who did use a wheelchair to get over.

It was said that the target could be to do with games set up for the HM's to play by BB.

one of my close family members is confined to a chair, and i asked them and they said its not really an offensive term.

does anyone think that this might be like a HND set up? I mean its really small!

Seems a bit much for a few games. Do you mean for like Tasks? If so then wouldn't BB just set up a flag or something.

Maybe the red target represents one house, while in the other house there is a blue target or something. I dunno, just speculating.

i actually dont like the house, its too small and therefore its going to be really noisy for the first few weeks! the only thing is though, it will stop group segregation that we saw mostly in bb6 when anthony, maxwell, sakia and craig kind of took over the living area for themselves and vanessa and kemal spent most of their time in the loft. Derek Roberto etc stayed by the bedroom window seating area.

Very different to what I expected but I like it.

I am really liking the house. I love the idea of a fridge in the garden, a bathtub in the lounge and a sink and hotplate at oposite ends of the living area.

Barry from posting that newspaper article image still doesnt prove theres a oven in the bedroom. They show the others but not the oven so I dont think the oven is in the bedroom. I think thats just a false rumour.
