Madonna also has a new PR team behind her:
Bush Novak announced the signing on IG, she notes, “As a life-long fan of this incredible artist, I’m proud to share I’m leading a passionate team at ID for Madonna.” She thanks Oseary, who also manages U2, “for the opportunity.” https://variety.com/2018/music/news/...pr-1203095216/ |
^ I'm so pleased about this. She NEEDS a professional PR group looking after her. No more having to try and defend herself on IG while she is being unfairly and falsely maligned or miss out on crucial professional promotion. The Queen of pop and Music deserves the very best. Great news.

No, I didn't get any pm. Send it to me again, hon. xx |
I appreciate that Madonna’s management seem to be putting a team together that’ll actually know what they’re doing in the present day.
The Rebel Heart promo, as nice as it was, was far too traditional and any attempts to modernise it kind of fell flat imo. It all kind of proved if Madonna wants to stay as relevant as she’s used to they can’t keep relying on the ‘build it and they will come’ strategy, if that makes sense. |
Yes. This new team sounds promising indeed. Her IG account has already improved massively as we haven't seen any unflattering pictures any more or her ranting at random nobodies ect, so things are starting to take effect.
Good promo has also started trickling from them and will continue well into 2019. I think Madonna's P.R started falling apart when Liz Rosenberg left. She was amazing for Madonna and didn't take any nonsense - whereas Guy has been awful. All he seems to care about is the money - which is fine but not at the expense of bad publicity. Anyway... really looking forward to the new album. |

More from the usual (credible) source with insider information on the upcoming album:
"What I heard has me dizzy. I’m literally nauseous and feeling like I might pass out. I’m sorry I can’t say a SINGLE word or detail but all will be revealed #SOON" "Things are coming much sooner than I anticipated!" "It’s def more than just info" |
Omg, the same person above hinted that something is coming this week. Maybe even tonight...but we'll see.

"Her glam team arrived in NYC over night! Hold on to your suspenders kiddo's! This might just be a bumpy ride!"

What a brilliant artcle...
https://www.independent.co.uk/voices...-a8712876.html Dear misogynists – the size of Madonna’s bum is absolutely none of your business You have reduced one of the most powerful women in the world to her flesh. Why do you care if she has had implants? Is this not what you wanted? We women would sincerely like your advice. We want to know, darling sexists, what you’d like us to do with our bodies. We are obviously incapable of making this decision ourselves. You see, we’ve been backed into a bit of a Chinese box. We’ve become Russian dolls, shedding the layers of our bodily imperfections – each one flawed, not quite… right. We’ve peeled them off and we’ve reached our tiny, defenceless core. So now we turn to you. How shall we proceed? Madonna – that multimillion-dollar popstar, business owner and actor with a career spanning almost four decades – has been forced to make a statement about the appearance of her body to appease you, sexist trolls. Her own body. That’s the stage we’ve reached. Appearing in front of New Year Eve revellers to surprise fans with a secret gig in New York, the singer prefaced her set with a rallying speech about the vital importance of standing up to discrimination and complacency in the face of hatred. Pictures of the spurring moment began to crop up online soon after – and as has become the brutal circadian rhythm of the internet, a process all too familiar, wax on, wax off – and within moments commenters miraculously forgot the megastar’s message of positivity and solidarity, instead deciding to… discriminate against her. Their focus was placed somewhere rather more south of her brain. Madonna’s arse became the focus of the conversation. Yes, there really is no escaping it, is there, charming chauvinists? The singer’s rear end, appearing to many larger and more pronounced than it has at other times in her life, became the focus of a fiery online debate, as people reacted to this rotund derričre with outrage. “Lord, what in the world did Madonna do to her behind????”; “she’s destroyed herself”; “I’m so embarrassed for her”; “I think the saddest ending to 2018 is finding out that Madonna got butt implants.” The irony seems to have been lost on this final commenter, that really, the saddest thing about women’s position in 2018 is that we’re still having this conversation at all. Responding to the faux-concerned, Madonna posted a selfie on Instagram with the caption: “Desperately seeking no one’s approval … and entitled to free agency over my body like everyone else!!” There was no need to respond. By responding at all, Madonna appeared to have finally reached boiling point. For this is a woman to whom bodily criticism comes as naturally as a pay check. Madonna is all too familiar with condemnation like this. Her body has been policed since she was 24. That she still even has a career at the age of 60 in an appearance obsessed industry is something worthy of celebration. That she chose to keep fit and enjoy being strong made Madonna repulsive in the eyes of you misogynists, who think women’s bodies should fit neatly within the parameters of toned but not muscular. Our bodies are here for you, after all, aren’t they? Madonna’s arms were always a focus for you dissenters. A 2008 TMZ article described her as having “monstrously sculpted and bloodcurdling veiny corpse arms”. In 2012, chief woman-hater Piers Morgan said, “Grotesque. Why would any woman want to look like a caveman? I’m serious.” Are you happy? You have reduced one of the most powerful women in the world to her flesh. Why do you care if she has had implants? Is this not what you wanted? If she hadn’t had surgery, she would have been “letting herself go”, wouldn’t she? And we couldn’t bear to watch that. You see, dear misogynists, we are doing what you wanted. We are keeping our bodies as pert and ageless as you’ve demanded. Plastic surgery is on the increase. Between 2016 and 2017 procedures were up by seven per cent. Women had their buttocks injected, implanted, fat transferred from one part of their bodies to another, their vaginas were cut and plumped, their breasts augmented and their necks lifted – all to feel comfortable within our own skin and remain within the tight parameters you have set. We are unhappy with our bodies. A Loose Womensurvey of 5,000 women in 2016 found that a whopping 74 per cent of us agonise about our figures on a daily basis. And that’s before we think about our stagnating post-baby careers, our male colleagues being paid more than us, our need to take on the lion’s share of the domestic tasks. Our butts are already on our mind, dear misogynists. Madonna knows this better than most. Women are virtually weaned on the idea that they will need to spend most of their adult life pruning, preening, chopping, scrubbing, waxing and doing other painful procedures in order to appear seal-smooth and hairless. Then when they do, they are criticised for overdoing it. There is a sweet spot of perfection and we must strive to fit within it. The flawlessness of Madonna’s response lies in her refusal to acknowledge whether or not she had had surgery on her behind and her unwillingness to fall prey to the disgusting speculation that paid no heed to her privacy or personal choices. She stood up for all women when she wrote that caption. You have put us in this position, dear misogynists. So how do we find the sweet spot? Tell us and we shall obey – so we can focus on more pressing matters. Kindest, All women, desperately seeking to be left alone :cheer2: |
We love the fact that Madonna (A Two time Golden Globe Winner) won best actress for "Evita" in 97 - beating major talents like Glenn Close in the process.

Madonna among Most Anticipated Albums of 2019:
Madonna (TBD) The Queen of Pop has never gone more than four calendar years between new albums, which would imply that it's time for 2015's Rebel Heart to receive its follow-up -- a notion she's recently confirmed in interviews. ("In between rose mist spray and serums, I’m actually making music. Can’t quit my day job.”) She's been in the studio with old collaborator Mirwais, which is almost certainly good news for longtime fans -- not because the American Life era is necessarily in need of reviving, but because Madonna is usually at her most focused and creative when working with a single trusted collaborator, and not having to (as she recently bemoaned) "go to song writing camps where No one can sit still for more than 15 minutes.” -- A.U. https://www.billboard.com/files/styl...board-1240.jpg |

Madonna reportedly in talks to perform at Eurovision:
"Madonna is reportedly in negotiation with organizers to perform at the Eurovision Song Contest, which will be held in Tel Aviv in 2019. Israel won the rights to host the annual competition in 2019 after Netta Barzilai was named the winner of last year’s event. According to the report, Madonna expressed her agreement to come to Israel, but negotiations remain ongoing over financial terms" https://www.i24news.tv/en/news/israe...eils-tent-city I hope she does it. It's literally the only bigger audience than the Super Bowl. :cheer2: |
Fans are saying the new IG image is most likely a fitting because you can see her bathroom in the background, maybe they are in the process of cutting and styling the wigs, the hair of the wig is soaking wet, so I'm thinking this is done while prepping as Andy is restyling the wig to suit Madonna's wishes. It might end up being ultra short, or wavy, frizzy, etc etc. She's hinting, not revealing final looks. Also, she has barely any make-up on her face, so this is FAR from the final look!

Her eyes look so "pulled tight" that they're making my eyes water! Sheesh.
Looking forward to new stuff though. |
DrownedMadonna.com reader Diogo Costa from Lisbon says that “I was on that location at sunset” where Madonna took this photo, and “we got kicked out because Madonna was shooting a new music video.”

There are a few details about Madonna‘s filming in Lisbon that we would like to share with her fans. We decided to wait till today before revealing the exact location and we will report only some juicy details that won’t destroy the surprise. Madonna chose a magic location with the best view of the whole city of Lisbon: the Panorâmico de Monsanto. Abandoned since 2001, it reopened as a viewpoint at the end of 2017, after years of neglect. It was a luxury panoramic restaurant in the late 1960s ,designed by Chaves da Costa. Despite the decay, you can still observe the beauty and the grandeur of its glorious past. Even though the graffiti cover the walls top to bottom, the building still has the flair that reflects the faded sixties era. Nowadays it reflects a desolated state of emptiness. Wandering its large glass windows, winding halls and staircases feels like exploring a ghost town. The ground floor still features the surviving tile panels by Manuela Madureira. https://i.ibb.co/VHm9jwh/Capture.jpg Yesterday this magnificent building has been closed for the shooting of Madonna‘s new video, according to what our Portuguese reader Diogo Costa told us. There were video cameras and lights everywhere, as well as many make-up campers outside. Besides many people from her team, our reader spotted a few African musicians (some of them holding guitars) and dancers. Finally, there were candles in the stairway that you can see in the images. |
This fan artwork is gorgeous. The dress is similar to the one in her Live to Tell video...

Omg, i've never seen this before. Madonna on the set of Evita singing "The Carpenters".

The Queen of LIFE is said to be releasing TWO singles in a few weeks. One disco tinged and the other Portuguese influenced. Then there's the album and upcoming GLOBAL world tour - which will no doubt sell out in record time. I really can't wait. :cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:
