Spurs and var do it again :cheer2:
|
VAR is my best friend
|
Cannot express how much I hate VAR. Totally reducing the drama and magic of football down to farce, going to make a lot of people disillusioned with football imo both players and fans
|
If it stops teams cheating to win then I'm down for it
|
You'll still get it though as shown on MOTD just then - hands all over players on corners going unnoticed yet the ball brushes an arm down by the players side which he knew nothing about and a goal is ruled out..

Finland should definitely put him in their side for the Euro qualifiers. |

Within the rules of the game (which does include the harsh handball decisions) we'd have very likely seen Spurs, West Ham, and Leicester all have lost their respective games against Man City, Brighton, and Wolves without VAR which would've meant that these teams didn't win because they were the better teams on the day, but instead because the Referees were either incompetent or corrupt which obviously isn't on. VAR does need to come to it's decisions quicker though I will agree with that. |

Raitanen is also amazing, how he came from liverpool academy, reserves to Fortuna this season, very hard worker also in training and he adds a good mentality to the team even when he is reserve :D |
Quote:
And that handball rule is ridiculous as there's no way the ref can make that decision in real time no matter how competent they are |

So funee man city thinking there won :cheer2::laugh: |

And I agree with you that the handball rules need amending for next season, but VAR isn't really to blame for a silly rule that would exist without VAR's existence, all VAR has done is just enforce the said silly rule. |

but the VAR said ''you need to go watch it back'' and then all of a sudden it was not a penalty anymore, since it was deemed an accidental handball the VAR are more like ''how to make a complete fool of the referee'' :joker: |
Come on Wolves. Cant let this sad bunch beat you at home.
|
On the other hand, we've got Liverpool at the weekend so......
|
Why is Pogba taking pens when Rashford is on forn from the spot??
|
Neville going crazy on why Pogba took the penalty. Dont worry MU fans Pogba will apologise on social media tomorrow and it'll all be OK.

I'm not even a Man Utd supporter and that decision to have Pogba take the penalty frustrated the hell outta me.
The starting 11 does look stronger this season though and a win against Palace at the weekend should see them in quite a nice position in the table which will be a nice change after being rank outsiders for the title in recent times, even in the year that they came 2nd they were miles behind Man City which doesn't look to be the case this year so far. I think that the overall squad is where Man Utd will probably struggle to keep up with Man City and Liverpool this season, but I think that Man Utd fans should be happy with the start that they've had as they've remained undefeated against two tough teams. |
I got the Man City goal alert on my watch in the 90th minute and it was followed up with another notification a couple of minutes later with the goal taken off. Very annoying
|
And this is why I wasnt so impressed by the David Luiz signing. Completely unnecessary penalty, just silly. At 1-0 we still had a chance. No chance now.
|
3-0 to the Kings
|
Salah just dribbled past Luiz. |
Haller!!!!

Because we're at home, I'm optimistic, but our defense looked as dodgy as ever yesterday.

It's all part of the plan now all team that come to the new spurs football pitch will think there can win then
Bang 5-0 spurs :dance::dance: Where Adam if Liverpool had lost I would be mocking the help out of him :joker: |

Torreira every time. He looked by far our most accomplished midfielder in the 15 minutes he was on. I dunno if he's not match fit but I cant understand how Xhaka gets in the team ahead of him.
|
I don’t get it either Torreira in my opinion is a far superior player. I’m beginning to think Xhaka is Stan Kroenke’s illegitimate son or something at this point, it’s the only explanation I can think of why he keeps starting.
|
Torreira is our best holding mid by far. The others have no defensive positioning at all - except Gendouzi but not keen on making a 19 year old our primary midfielder - Yet slow, nonathletic, take six touches to control the ball Xhaka gets the most game time. Ceballos looked exposed yesterday, maybe he's more of a home than away player.

And on the Torreira vs Xhaka debate I also think that Torreira is the better player out of the two and he looked more lively when he came on. I also think that Emery should've started with Aubamayang and Lacazette up front as they work well as a partnership. |
