That's not really how it works and lots of victims of childhood sexual abuse go on the become highly sexualised adults (porn stars, prostitutes, etc.) and speak about their childhood experiences as a positive part of that as a way to rationalise and deal with something horrendous. The porn industry is fueled by childhood trauma. That might not be a nice thing to have to accept, but it is what it is.

So many arguments that she's a fun person in a good place in life, but no one who is healthy and happy pumps their bodies and faces full of plastic, to perform sex acts on camera. It just doesn't happen. It's sad, and I hope she does manage to move away from it into something else. But I'm also very aware that other "ex pornstars gone mainstream" have found it very difficult to be taken seriously.

The thing is... she may well be a sweet, caring person... but I honestly find it worrying if young people find her inspiring when she's had so much surgery, has done (still does?) full-on hardcore porn, and talks about it being "fun and consensual" to have sex aged 10. Especially when it's really abundantly clear from the many ex-porn stars who speak out about it, that being involved in making porn is NOT a happy situation for anyone to be in, they just act like it is while they're still "in the business". I'd worry that her seeming so "happy" to be where she is might urge easily-influenced, unhappy young people to think that making money by selling themselves and spending it on enhancement surgeries is a route to happiness.

Agree with this but it can also be said of the more successful actresses. There are loads of interviews available with the top level stars and few come across as unhappy. There are levels to the sex industry and she is about as well known as any UK porn star but I agree at a lower level exploitation is a huge problem.

I've mentioned on the forum, a couple of times, that I once worked in a strip club and that I also once walked past a door way where people were filming a porn scene. Those two incidents are connected.

There were always loads of men at the club giving out business cards and some of the women answered them. Many of the women/girls were as I explained earlier - reach puberty early and have a 'figure' by the time they're 15/16. Going into modeling was a natural progression for some but I think it takes a certain personality to build your way up the sex industry, reach the top and then to stay at the top till say they're 40. Lisa Ann has been the top porn star for over a decade, she retired twice and is on her 2nd comeback, Romi Rain is in her mid thirties and is now moving more into presenting and ASMR and theres loads more. I doubt it is the perfect industry for anyone as so many top stars are trying to leave. Then theres the Sara Jays of this world who are still working well into their 40's and still enjoying it. Its a fascinating industry.
