The Semi-Final is tonight at 8pm!

Josiah. 05-01-2020 02:22 PM

You all will not believe how long the Semi-Final video took to export last night. It took like 20 minutes to export, and then it took another 15-20 minutes to upload to Google Drive.

See you all at 8 for the Semi-Final!

Nicky91 05-01-2020 02:24 PM

already had done some listening sessions myself, looking at the wikia and then searching the songs on YouTube

this edition is for me personally better than last one, also love how we again got more languages in the contest :)

Josiah. 05-01-2020 02:30 PM

I know! I agree, plus it's gonna be a hoot when I edit the results.

Josiah. 05-01-2020 07:48 PM

Dobre veče Belgrade! Welcome to the Semi-Final.

————————————————————————————————————————————— ————

Just as stated by Cord in the video, you can vote by sending me a private message. You must send in 2 sets of 1-8, 10, and 12 points (one for jury voting, one for televoting). You cannot under any circumstance vote for your own country. Please have some differences between your two sets of votes. If you are participating with more than one country, please send all votes in one PM. All members of the Big 6 must vote.

IF you are participating and do not send in 1 or both sets of points, your points will be replaced with an aggregated result.

If you are voting as a part of the Rest of the World, please send me a PM with all 24 countries individually ranked on a scale of 1 to 5. All ROTW rankings will be averaged to create the ROTW jury vote.

Voting closes at 2:00pm BT tomorrow.

Good luck to all and...

TiBB, START VOTING NOW!

Hopefully you lovely participants and non-participants notice!

The Spotify playlist is in a different order to the video :oh:

The playlist is all the entries, the video is just the semi final

Josiah. 05-01-2020 09:20 PM

Yeah, and I really can't put the Spotify playlist in running order when we've got both the semi-final and the final. But, again, voting will close at 2pm tomorrow, so get votes in as soon as possible.

Josiah. 05-01-2020 09:41 PM

Remember to send in votes for all countries you are participating as.

Morgan. 05-01-2020 09:42 PM

I’m gonna be honest Josiah, sending in 6 different votes is a bit daunting

Josiah. 05-01-2020 09:47 PM

I understand. I had to do 10 sets of points.

Josiah. 05-01-2020 11:50 PM

If people want to send in one set of points, that's fine too. I can still do aggregated results for the remaining countries you are participating as.

Josiah. 06-01-2020 01:16 AM

Voting is going pretty well. No runaway winner yet. I’ve managed to get a couple of people not on TiBB to vote as a part of the Rest of the World.

Voting has now closed! Results to come at 8pm.

Strictly Jake 06-01-2020 01:15 PM

I forgot sorry. But 6 sets of votes would have taken me forever anyway

Josiah. 06-01-2020 01:21 PM

It's okay Jake, Morgan said roughly the same thing last night.

dutch song is a young talent Fais, just recently became known here after a song got viral, and this also does well in our charts

german song is from Nico Santos, who you might know from that hit ''rooftop'' and this is his most recent one from last year

Josiah. 06-01-2020 10:55 PM

Hong Kong
North Macedonia
Germany
Russia
United States
Australia
Philippines
New Zealand
Portugal
Norway

All 3 of my bangers out? Trash

Nicky91 07-01-2020 07:13 AM

1 out of 3 for me through, but it's my best one so i'm happy

my other songs pretty decent result wise too in semi, at least gotten close to qualifying

Shaggy flopping, last place in the semi

Josiah. 07-01-2020 07:01 PM

The video for the final is taking a while to export, please be patient.

So as I have SK, CR and AUS, are they allowed to vote eachother :suspect:

Josiah. 07-01-2020 08:32 PM

Yes Morgan. Example: South Korea can vote for Australia, but they can't vote for themselves.

Morgan. 07-01-2020 08:33 PM

Ok cool. I’ll vote tomorrow

Strictly Jake 07-01-2020 08:48 PM

I will vote in the morning. Hope I dont forget again
