I think it's a decent way to protest if you really can't bring yourself to vote for anyone. Not voting at all will just go down as "couldn't be bothered" where as a deliberately spoiled vote says, "I want to vote, I made the effort but none of you represent me"

Loads of Labour Leavers

All week on GMBHD itv/ SkyNewsHD / Ch4HD news/ Ch5HDnews/ CNN HD / ITV1HD news/NewsnightHD/ BBCnewsHD
we have had these Labour voters
confirming they will vote Conservative.

No true Labour voter would ever vote tory.... brexit or no brexit.

I always remember when I was young listening to the count in Ireland as my grandmother had great interest in politics, and wondered how people could spoil their votes when it was such a simple thing to put a x in a box, it was only years later I understood they simply couldn't bring themselves to vote for any of the parties but wanted their vote registered at the same time

I explained to bots what my opinion on protest would be on this issue. It's not counted as a vote, there's a difference cherie.

I'm a pretty passionate "people died for your vote" type as well so definitely get why you would do that rather not go at all. I usually just vote for an independant myself as I'm not a big fan of any of the major parties here either

You do what you want Cherie but a spoiled vote is nonsensical , it doesn't even count . it's a waste .

Eh, kind of.

There's a fair strip of sea separating us from the continent.

We're our own mini continent tbh

Liam- 12-12-2019 10:38 AM

My polling station was moved and they only informed us of it in a small box on the polling card, who even reads them when you’re used to the station being in a certain place?

But the point is that it signals a "no-one, they're all crap" while still using your vote.

Barely.

it's only a waste to someone who disagrees with their choice of action and that is irrelevant.

Well you'll survive I'm sure, not certain that goes for the many vulnerable people already affected by cuts. Let's not think about that though it's Christmas.
