No, but I might give it a go as nobody has anything bad to say about it.

Definitely recommend, I'll spoiler whatever is a bit spoilerish, there's nothing major there though

What season are you on now Ammi? I'm trying to keep up with you but you're too fast  I'm on S2 Ep7 of the rewatch

…I’ve just finished season 3..but I think that I might get a lot slower in binging for the moment because I’ve also started to continue with a series that I started to watch a while ago and that’s very, very riveting so I might focus more on that for the moment and have a Creek break…

…..I’m also going to recommend The Glory as a series, which I’m catching up on…its excellent but a lot more intense so it’s nice to dip in to Schitt’s Creek for something lighter as well…

Is that on Netflix?

Glenn. 14-01-2025 11:33 AM

So jealous that your watching this for the first time Ammi

…yeah, it’s Netflix…this is the trailer for it…I hadn’t realised that the story was rooted in real events, which make it even more intense and riveting…it’s very, very good…

…hawwwww…..I always think the same as well when I see someone discovering a much loved series/much loved characters for the first time…I mean, for such a ‘pampered and privileged’ family, they’re so adorable and lovable…..

GoldHeart 14-01-2025 07:37 PM

I might give the pilot of Schitt's creek a go ,as I've finished watching Bad Sisters now :) .

Glenn. 14-01-2025 07:45 PM

Honestly it’s well worth it. Nice easy viewing too

…what were your thoughts on Bad Sisters, GH…/…did you watch both seasons…I haven’t finished watching the second season yet…I think you’ll love Schitt’s Creek, though…it’s a very easy binge watch as the episodes are so short as well and each one just zips by…the characters are excellent and it never dips in how much it delivers in its writing and sharpness…...

The second season of Bad Sisters started off as a slow burner, and I'll admit I was unsure how it was all going to turn out ....but it came together . I actually enjoyed it in the end ,I won't spoil it for you if you haven't finished watching it yet.

But the last episode felt like a proper bittersweet
ending...if that makes sense. Doesn't look like there's any plans for a season 3...which is ashame in a way ,but maybe the story would run out of steam anyway,so I think they made the right choice finishing it here.

…yeah I have to say that I struggled a bit with the second season in comparison to the first so I put it aside for the moment…I do intend to get back to it though…

Honestly once you get back into it , especially if you binge ...it will go by quickly and the story develops more.

…I’ll put that next on my list, I’ve already watched some so that’ll make it zip along even more…atm, I’m watching The Glory alongside Schitt’s Creek so when I’ve finished The Glory I’ll get back to Bad Sisters…I do love the sisters and want to follow their story through to its conclusion……

Oh do. Season 1 is more of a build up to the rest of the seasons so stick with it.

Ammi 15-01-2025 07:08 AM

…I knew that Dan Levy was Eugene’s son…I mean, that’s unmistakable in terms of how much they look like each other and share so many mannerisms etc…but I hadn’t realised that Sarah Levy was part of the family tree as well as Twyla…and I think that for me is something that shines in the show/in the dynamics…not just the slickness and sharpness of the writing and comedy but what each actor brings to their role…(…as with Moira…)…but a huge sense of ‘family’ as well…they might not be a relatable family in terms of lifestyle etc, either before or after they came to Schitt’s Creek but there is still so much sense of family bonds and relatability etc…it really does have so many layers…

Ammi 16-01-2025 08:10 AM

…just starting season 5 now and living it more and more……(…I might do an instant rewatch when it’s over as I know that I’m going to miss it…)…

I did as well

Ammi 16-01-2025 10:13 AM

…I think that also in a second watch quite quickly…?…everything will still be so fresh and recalled, while also absorbing details and things that were missed first time …as we can be focusing on specific things and missing so may subtle details…it’s an easy watch while also following other series so I’m pretty sure I’ll start rewatching straight away as a ‘side watch’ to other stuff…

Ammi 16-01-2025 10:13 AM

…honestly love that family……

It's weird going back to the start after you watch the whole thing, they're so different by the end, you'd almost have forgotten what they were like at the start.

Glenn. 16-01-2025 10:23 AM

The character development is really good in this show.

For Alexis especially I think and then David

Glenn. 16-01-2025 10:27 AM

Yeah definitely for them two. It’s really organic too.

I think I need to rewatch it again.

…..I’m going to watch some of The Glory later so will slow down a bit …I also googled that I only have two season left so don’t want it to finish too soon…

…I think it’s a bit similar to Friends in that way, in how it wasn’t just about the slick dialogue but how they developed in their characters as well…

Yeah definitely, although I've never actually done a full rewatch of Friends, might do at some point

Friends?

Ammi 17-01-2025 06:47 AM

…I’m trying to slow down/distracting myself with other watches…I finished The Glory yesterday evening and tonight is The Traitors plus the last episode of Silo…plus I want to try to watch Gladiators 2 this weekend as well…but Schitt’s Creek is such quick episodes that are almost an ad break so somehow they always slip in there as well as little fillers…

…me and Mr Ammi deciding whether to go one more episode …
