You have the right to complain about how much lockdown has had a toll on your mental health and it doesn’t make you heartless towards the people who have died of covid

:clap1:

it will be years before the actual deadly aspect of this virus is known and id imagine its not "covid"

I'm starting to think the same

Rest in Peace Nikki. I got to hang out with you a few times and you were always the most sweet, funniest person to be around.
You entertained the whole nation for an entire Summer back in the Golden Years of the original reality TV show. You were loved by millions.
I’m not a hugely religious person but I hope wherever you are now is a much more peaceful and happy place for you than this world was.

I have to agree with this as well.

I keep thinking of old people who have been lonely for just over a year and them probably thinking that they will end up lonely for the rest of their life too :(

Obviously lockdown does help keep rates down, but at the same time, how long can people be separated from society?

Is it against forum rules to post Raphs twitter, is he still a member?

If it is against the rules I'll delete it

I think it's fair in context of him being a fellow housemate tbf

Oh my. I have only just heard this. All the celebrities deaths seem to come all at the same time don't they. But this has hit the hardest. I'm crushed. This is so sad.

Nikki took part in the seventh series in 2006 and was one of the show's most recognisable stars.

She returned as a housemate in UK Big Brother twice: in Ultimate Big Brother in 2010 and also the 2015 series. In 2016 she took.....

This is absolutely gutting, she made such an impact in the lives of her loved ones.

Mokka 11-04-2021 04:19 AM

I just saw this and I'm so very sad.
She was such a beautiful soul, so fragile and Fiesta in one. I truly had hope she would get the help she needed

...this is so unbearable, Jordan...even with all of the love and support and willing she had, her body was obviously just too fragile...

...she left such a legacy of love in the hearts of those who knew her, I feel...

....I’ve always felt from the first lockdown and seen some some very harrowing stuff, that we may have the same COVID all around us but not everyone is experiencing the same COVID ...the differences can be vast and incomparable ....

I’m doing okay thank you gorgeous. Obviously I didn’t know her personally but I feel like I did as I’m sure many people on here do having watched her for so many years. I remember crying on my mum when she was evicted and I cried on my mum last night when I found out she had passed away. It is honestly breaking my heart that she must have suffered so much to lose her battle with this vile illness but I hope and pray she’s at peace now.

It’s so heartbreaking to see some of the DMs here from Grace, she truly cared. A lot of her BB7 cast who are active on social media have posted and it’s devastating

BBUKAUSFAN 11-04-2021 08:26 AM

A friend just told me, Im in utter shock :(
a true icon forever and always

rest now nikki <3

Vanessa 11-04-2021 09:45 AM

In my opinion the greatest housemate of all time.
She will be missed so much

Deirdre 11-04-2021 10:00 AM

came on here to pay my respects and share some thoughts. I recently rewatched a lot of the Big Brother series including 7 which is the most entertaining imo. Nikki was amazing in this series but it really struck me watching her and Pete fall in love in that house. He truly adored her, as did the public.
I felt when she reappeared in later BB series, she grew up a little and the temper tantrums were gone and her real personality shone as someone who was so kind and lovely, and in ways I think we all fell in love with her again.
Pete's message really struck home for me, he must be devestated.

I have tears... I've rewatched their series so many times, it's one of my favourites. I don't know if I'll be able to watch it again though.

RIP Nikki.

Pronshi 11-04-2021 12:44 PM

Still so upsetting. Grace's last messages to her honestly tear me up inside.

Tom4784 11-04-2021 01:03 PM

It's terribly sad, she was one of my favourite contestants ever and she was always just a really bright person despite her circumstances. The pictures that were released for her fundraiser was awful, and I remain confused as to why she had to rely on fundraisers and not the system to help her. The system failed her, it truly did.
