I thought Jennifer and Courtney were close? |
I’ll watch it either tonight or tomorrow. Hope it lives up to the hype and doesn’t disappoint.

I'm not sure I will watch it. I usually don't like those "reunion" shows years later or when they try to reboot shows.
And it's not even a proper episode from my understanding? I want to keep the magic of what it was rather than them explaining what it was etc I love the way the show ended and it doesn't happen to me often (hi Lost!) so I would like to keep it the way it is. |

…it was strange how when he was doing the quiz…David Schwimmer, quizmaster immediately became Ross, quizmaster…

…some of the most emotional bits were people from different parts of the world saying how those characters had meant in their own lives…..

I never realised as well (I only noticed it in rewatches sometime later) how his weight changed so much between seasons 6 & 7. |

Couldn’t stop crying when they all returned to the set  Such an amazing group of people and such an amazing show
|
There was a selfie of them in 2019 of them all together, and lots of photos of the girls together.

Really enjoyable episode. Would've personally cut the random talking heads with BTS, Beckham etc but I think it was a good celebration of the show. James Corden was fine as an interviewer.
The start of it was very moving. As was the behind the scenes of the finale taping. I had no idea Matthew Perry had...that much work done to his face though. That was pretty jarring. |
Just got done watching. Really enjoyed it. You know why we all liked Friends? Because we wanted them as friends, we wanted a piece of their lives. You watch as the 7th friend, and that's why this show worked perfectly!

Anyway, my point I guess is that just because they haven't all been together as a group, doesn't mean they don't individually keep in touch. Some more than others I imagine. A few of them have worked together on smaller things (guest appearances in each other's shows etc.) and I think the three girls see each other. I agree that Matthew Perry seemed the most like "an outsider" on the night but actually I'm not sure that's the case - I think what was coming across was that he was the least comfortable being there, but I don't think that was necessarily about the other cast... he just seemed a bit anxious and self-conscious during the "live" part which can manifest as aloofness/distance. During the "on the set" parts he seemed more comfortable, especially when it was just him and Matt. |

They've all been in touch, just not very often the entire group at once. Sounds fairly ordinary. |

…with the interviews of people in different parts of the world, though…?..what it showed was that the ‘magic’ was that the series and friends meant something different to all of us and I think that’s exactly it… |
I’ve been friends with a couple of Joeys... one of them was even part-Italian :joker:.

I once had a girlfriend named Rachel
