The House of Lords makes no more changes. PM Sunak has won his victory. It now goes to the King and The Rwanda Act becomes legal [The government has committed to staging a review of asylum decisions for Afghans who helped British forces to ensure they are not deported to Rwanda unfairly. Labour's Des Browne did not push his amendment as a result. Meanwhile, in bizarre scenes the Lords was briefly plunged into darkness thanks to a power cut.] https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...-migrants.html Sign Of The Times |
Awful policy.
However let's see what happens from now. |
Terrible.

…so the King approves something that he himself has openly stated as ‘appalling’…/ethically….and that’s the ‘positive role’ of the monarchy for his country…?…..shameful day…

Hopefully it gets changed IF this heartless CON lot do get finally and conclusively booted out in anytime up to only 9 months time now. This is a detestable policy. I could never support it. |

I know loads of people who do want the boat crossings eased and stopped However I find very few indeed who think Rwanda is the right Country for this. Which is my own position on it too. I find it obscene. I'd love to see where the evidence is that most of the Country support Rwanda as a safe Country to send ANYONE to who doesn't want to go. Actually I'll leave it there and just applaud your own word for it Zizu. Bonkers. That's exactly what this costly and limited policy is, stark raving bonkers. |
Ridiculous.
Find a way to actually stop the crossings, instead of trying to implement a "deterrent" which everyone knows won't affect most of the migrants. |
|
When they come here, STOP giving them the very best.
STOP the best hotels, the best food, FREE clothes, mobile phones. Just give them a tent and £25 per week for food. That's it. TRUST ME, then they'll stop coming! |

Surely it would be easy enough to just patrol our own coastlines and far cheaper … They could even pay fishing boats as early warnings to ring through any sightings they see . They used radars to defend our airspace 80 years ago so surely there must be some technology available to locate any dodgy boats Pretty sure our fishing trawlers have gadgets showing where all their mates and competitors ( foreign trawlers included) are located on the sea Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

Typical of BBC Chris Mason
in Poland had to ask PM Sunak about the 5 deaths in French waters today. Sunak stated it is incredibly sad that these people died. He also used his term "they are jumping the queue" |
Far too many were on the boat
around 112 it ended up on a sandbank they all fell into the water 5 deaths this morning One a Child Girl. Also, Mark White reporter, said some run out to the boats to get on free but on each boat, a gangster will stab them. Some have died. |

No, the point is in Ireland, they cannot be sent to Rwanda. So at this time until a General Election Rwanda is Legal. Also many current illegal migrants have been sent a letter saying they may be sent. It had all languages on the Government letter. (They were shown on a Newsnight Report last week) |
Pointed out also
there is no Border from Northern Ireland to Ireland. So no wonder they pop over to Northern Ireland to sneak into troubled housing in Ireland |
Good on the
