I could be wrong, but i don't think his behaviour is in the same ball park as the masterchef guy and he seems to have walked away from that unscathed (except for having his contract terminated)
|
at the moment with what has been alleged and the evidence laid in front of us its one big offence archaeology witch hunt made by people being offended for others
and the others being not bothered at all |
those easily triggered women of today
:joker: :joker: and it is easy to accuse a celebrity, since that'll get blown up on a bigger scale by the news media in no time, and this has potential to end them up with plenty of $$ and 5 minutes of fame in many talk shows etc no, if something happened (which i doubt) this needs to be handled behind closed doors, by the law enforcement authorities, and we shouldn't be even speculating about this at all, the news media should only have the right to discuss something if it is proven Jay Blades, Gino D'Acampo i stand with you :( |

If thats true...it is pathetic. I bet she didn't tell him that to his face though  |

I was talking in terms of them both being suggestive/inappropriate on tv but not being challenged but applauding it If the ratings are higher than the complaints it’s acceptable but when the milk turns sour it’s not . |

[Keith Lemon would be top of my list
as being far cruder than Gino] Sure but Lemon is in plain site that's his crude style. To be fair we have no clips of Gino being Crude, so far, as he makes sure he is off-camera when he talks dirty to younger women who are working at ITV. |
so something like this is fine and celebrated if its on ITV but if its said and its not on tv at ITV people should be sacked?

Surely any hot blooded male would just keep Holly's head with Holly's body...ferne shouldnt even be in the same sentence.

But that’s gone very quiet now |
Wtf if happening to women? Have we reverted back to the Victorian age where a woman might swoon or get the vapours if someone said something shocking or near the knuckle? If a man, or another woman, says something that makes you feel uncomfortable, tell them. Make it clear you don't like it and up with it you will not put. Don't wait years to whine about it. Get a grip... be a woman and not a fainting Edwardian damsel.
I am not a Gino fan but this nonsense has gone on long enough. |
I guess as Leigh Francis was doing a character, Keith Lemon's behaviour was totally fine.
Itv is a complete joke like I said, celebrity juice was vulgar & full of crudeness...yet people were laughing and producing were encouraging it. Especially with Gino aswell. |
I was hoping they were gonna talk about this. The first ten minutes are about Gino I trust what these two say about TV and how it work, both have a lot of experience and are not tied to any network. To paraphrase - It would not have been a few bits of banter, to be cancelled the way Gino has, it will have been years and years of complaint made by low level employees. Or should I say years and years of complaint that were ignored until some finally said enough is enough Apparently he told someone he'd like to bend them over and **** them. Is that OK in the workplace  |

So yes it's absolutely fine |

Indeed Like literally if someone didn't have the balls to tell the little man where to go I literally give up, I don't think he held that much sway at top level  |
Quote:
You keep asking why didn't people come forward at the time. They did come forward but were ignored. |

Itv have been clipping up much worse and putting out on YouTube for likes for years

Being cancelled is a msm bollocks term it means nothing, has no substance and has no basis in fact
It's a tabloid rage headline only |

GM clip....laugh laugh titter titter......he was known for it and every TV show he was on was full of innuendo and sauce, Gordon, Fred and Gino, Family fortunes, Celebrity Juice, Good Morning, you cant have it both ways I am afraid...he was a golden goose and now he is surplus to requirements, he was more than likely highly paid, but they have up and comings now in Joel Dommett who will likely be everywhere just like Stephen Mulhern..... there is no loyalty in TV to any employees just ask Eamonn Holmes |

This ! Plus i don't know why some reporter is crying over what Gino said about Holly, I guess it was ok for Leigh Francis to be as vulgar & crass as he wanted on celebrity juice... as the audience squealed laughing & wetting themselves with joy at all the cringe :notimpressed:. I don't care if he was doing a character = ' Keith lemon ', surely he was sexually harassing aswell then ?. Funny how Holly probably didn't mind...I wonder if it's because her husband was a producer on juice  . Plus she took a peek at Danny Dyer's private bits in bs name of ' medical science ' . Like I said hypocrites the lot of them . Joel Dommett & Stephen mulhern should watch their backs , as ITV will drop them like a bag of trash when they find other faces to replace them. |
Oh my what is this..

Holly agreed to peek at Danny Dyer's private bits in the name of bs " medical science" .....on celebrity juice. That show was full of nudity & smutty humour. |

I would take Fearne's personality over Holly's lack of one though. |

But being serious I can see where you're coming from, especially with the Keith Lemon persona. |

I think it's two things. Sensibilities have changed and the way we consume media has changed. Things that were acceptable 15 years ago are rightly not acceptable now and the two shows I mentioned, I think its right they are no longer shown on terrestrial TV. Full of stereotypes and one has some quite dodgy politics Things like, The Sky Sports Socceretes, Take Me Out, and lads mags like Nuts and Zoo were of their time but not appropriate anymore. I wouldn't call it censorship because they don't conform to newfound sensibilities All these shows are available if we want to watch them and can find them. Due to the way we now consume media we'll be able to watch say, Celebrity Juice but not a broadcast of repeats on ITV2. I've got no problem with that |
