Why does Hollyoaks get so little ratings? I mean 2.0, don't they axe programmes if they are that low?

Hollyoaks was the second highest ratings for C4 yeseday. The Simpsons was highest with 2.7m

IMO, the storylines for Hollyoaks are really good, and very realisitic, they tackle a lot of issues which most soaps haven't already. =] I agree, the viewings should be a lot higher.

Why is Emmerdale trying to COPY hollyoaks with the opening music?? and i have noticed they are editing it the same way as H O does.... Eastenders is brilliant at the moment and has been for the past year emmerdale is a poor poor soap and How many explsions and fires have they had this year so tacky at least EE have real actors

I have to agree. Although Corrie is even worse then Emmerdale IMO. But each to their own innit.

I think each soap are quite good in their own way, if you know what I mean hehe.

I love the explosions/fires on Emmerdale - Mainly because Emmerdale are fantastic at stunts and know how to pull them off (imo).

I bet that if eastenders and emmerdale started at the same time then ee would definately win and if ee had a hour episode starting half an hour before emmerdale (even though it would probably never happen) then ee would defo win.

Plus it would win with a much bigger margin compared to emmerdale's triumph of just 1.3m for their second biggest storyline this year.

By the way I do watch both before people say im a dale hater.

emmerdale have had sooooooooooooo many hour long epiodes now and it is really pathetic of them....i mean in the past 2 years how many have they had???? :nono::nono: emmerdale is a boring soap with boring old farts moaning :yuk:

And have you noticed that when EE have a really good episode they dont have an hour episode....and you know... because EE love creating clif hangers...which is brilliant.... The only hour episode this year is Stacys wedding which im sure is going to be wedding of the year

Healthy EE ratings there.. hollyoaks is quite down it use to get 3 million or at the very least 2.5million must be the E4 episodes

Eastenders still high up on the ratings. I think the hour wedding specail will get even more.

Holyoaks - 2.2m (C4's highest ratings yesterday)

When you think about about it EE is the only soap that has loyal viwers they get 9million average where as corrie gets 9 to 11million somedays,emmerdale 6 to 8million hollyoaks 1 - 2million

I think Hollyoaks has loyal viewers, it always gets around 1.9m.
