Sometimes the page times out because it takes too long too load.
It's more slower than uploading a video on youtube (That takes forever!)

The Mods have been trying to answer for weeks, but it takes ages, apparently...

If its anything technical or server related , its only going to be a few of the higher up mods who are going to be able to answer. Some mods are just like regular members , but they are mods. Speaking of these mods , they seem to be presumed ...err... missing as of late.

Still , im sure we will get a reason some day. That or a big long speech about how we are not allowed talk about it and they are working extremely hard breaking their backs being mods.

[im joking , by the way , please dont break into my house with truncheons at night and 'mod' my life]

I think the best thing to do would be to change hosting companies, a new one that is faster and reliable.

Look here to see exacly what everyones doing...

Retroman 29-12-2007 05:06 PM

I haven't posted in a few days as far as im aware...
And even when I have posted, I just about have the patience to post a couple and then I give up.

I know some people are loyal to the forum and will do their best to post here regardless of how slow it's being.

But when I come online, the last thing I need is delays/ added stress.
So it's put me off posting quite a lot.

As for deleting members...
Wouldn't that create a lot of missing posts/topics? or some kind of alert saying the user no longer exists all over the place?

Not to mention that even if it did help, it'd just keep occuring when more people register. Not to mention it'd mean quite a few unhappy people having their accounts closed just because they've been busy/leading a life for a while.

Which isn't something to be held against anyone, and doesn't sound fair at all.

I admit there are some "bad" members, but not enough to delete to help the forum lol.

......you are aware that it was just a smart remark indirectely aimed against some of the forums more ...immature... members?

That feature exists on about every forum known to man. Its no great big conspiracy.

Oxymoron 29-12-2007 05:33 PM

is there any more scary tracking devices on TIBB

Dan_ 29-12-2007 07:44 PM

James 29-12-2007 10:30 PM

We're still trying to work this one out. I know it is very frustrating.

Captain.Remy 30-12-2007 08:06 AM

It works very well for me today guys !!!! :thumbs2:

Stu 30-12-2007 10:58 AM

Working slightly better today. Heres a trick that works for me. Avoid the homepage. Access threads you have posted in by going up to the top of the page , clicking on your name , and viewing all your posts. That seems to work for me.

Oxymoron 30-12-2007 11:01 AM

same here

Magic 30-12-2007 12:53 PM

Slightly better

BigSister 30-12-2007 03:58 PM

its working slow for me today but im sure you will all work it out as soon as you can

Princess 30-12-2007 04:40 PM

Its been slow for a while, seems a bit better today though.

Captain.Remy 30-12-2007 05:14 PM

Michael 31-12-2007 08:33 PM

Mrluvaluva 02-01-2008 11:06 AM

It keeps sticking for me, and taking ages to change the page.

Captain.Remy 02-01-2008 11:21 AM

It's far better today !

Princess 03-01-2008 01:17 AM

Its been bad for me today(yesterday?).

I just head off to the TT forum if I get impatient though....

Xander 03-01-2008 01:57 AM

Well Yesterday/Early Hours I noticed that suddenly it was really then another time it would take 6 minutes to load, and time out. But i think it has improved a bit. At least it wasnt as bad as a couple of days ago.

BigSister 03-01-2008 12:05 PM

its really slow today but im thinking maybe because of BB hijack it might be slow today so im gonna give it the benefit of the doubt today

Captain.Remy 03-01-2008 12:06 PM

Yeah it's very slow !! I'm sure it will make 2 minutes to post that message lol

Magic 07-01-2008 06:27 PM

Please....

Can we get the "recent posts" back, and then sort out the speed, followed by the Search feature!

TiBB isnt the same, if you havent noticed since it has became really slow, places like Chat and Games are used much less.

Ohh and Can we have a Invison Free forum for when it crashes.

Sticks 08-01-2008 05:07 AM

When I have been trying to post my efforts on the fan fiction section it was taking a while to load. Does the fact I have long posts because each episode is lengthy with reference to images be a cause?
