I keep on hearing this "not experienced enough" debate. He has a lot of experience. Please do some research.

Obama has a lot of ideas - ideas that can work - not like Hillary's ideas, which seem to sound great but won't really turn out great. If you actually took the time to actually research Obama's plans, you would see his plans might actually work. His plans are not impossible, unlike Hillary's.

There's a reason why Hillary is losing a lot of momentum. It's not because Obama is using his sweet talk to gain a lot of popularity, it's because people are seeing more of her "plans," and now knowing they won't probably work. It's all pipe dreams. People are starting to see right through her.

Don't get me wrong, McCain, Obama and Clinton are not great presidential candidates, but I think the whole of America needs a fresh start. Someone like Obama fits that bill.

I still think that Hillary should win

Funny Umbrella parody.

Warning - contains lots of sexual references.

GiRTh 27-02-2008 01:44 PM

I see the campaign has finally gone negative. Hillary Clinton's camp are trying to claim Barack Obama is a muslim.

Obama Muslim Slur

Shaun 27-02-2008 02:18 PM

No they aren't :conf2:

They fired some campaign worker last year for claiming that, and there's no proof whatsoever that the Hillary party are circulating that photograph.

Even so, so what? Hillary's been photographed in loads of traditional dress - it doesn't mean she adheres to any of the religions/beliefs that usually come with.

Load of Obama exaggeration, as per usual.

GiRTh 27-02-2008 02:19 PM

Tha article states they're trying to claim Obama is a Muslim. If Hillary doesn't know about this then she doesn't have much of a grip on her campaign.

GiRTh 27-02-2008 03:02 PM

Also, if this is an article circulated by an independent without the Clinton campaigns knowledge then Hillary has to denounce it in order to keep a clean campaign.

Once a campaign goes negative it can never go back and if the Clinton campaign is the first to go negative then that tells me they think they're in trouble.

Its still too close to call. We'll have to wait for the Democratic Nation Convention in August.

Sunny_01 05-03-2008 03:47 PM

I would vote Obama - purely because I think saying his name when drunk is really funny!!

Seriously though, by voting Hillary would you not be putting someone who has already been there back in power. I think "she" ran the show when good ole Bill was in the white house.

Sam! 05-03-2008 03:48 PM

George Bush please :cheer2:

Obama adviser resigns; called Clinton ‘monster’

Quote:

LONDON - A Barack Obama adviser resigned Friday after calling rival Hillary Rodham Clinton "a monster."

Samantha Power, an unpaid foreign policy adviser and Harvard professor, announced her resignation in a statement provided by the Obama campaign in which she expressed "deep regret."

"Last Monday, I made inexcusable remarks that are at marked variance from my oft-stated admiration for Senator Clinton and from the spirit, tenor, and purpose of the Obama campaign," she said. "And I extend my deepest apologies to Senator Clinton, Senator Obama and the remarkable team I have worked with over these long 14 months."

If the shoe fits......

Shaun 07-03-2008 05:48 PM

She's hardly a monster

And yeah, it's likely to be down to the super-delegates now.

JeanP! 07-03-2008 08:59 PM

Obamas campaign is so sad.... Hillary to win :cheer2:

Blink_Me 08-03-2008 10:29 PM

Well..... Hillary will not win.

Obama won Wyoming tonight, by a huge 19 points difference. So much for her comeback and her momentum.

And the delegates have been updated: Obama has 1571, Clinton has 1462 (which will change after the Wyoming result).

Please tell me, how does anyone expect Hillary to win? Because he has the popular vote and the delegate lead. Or she has is the super-delegate vote, which will he close the gap on in the next few months.

Obama will win big in Mississippi

Callum 08-03-2008 10:33 PM

Please Hilary win!
I so don't want Barack Obama to win.

Jack 08-03-2008 10:34 PM

Hillary has pretty much lost now.

Blink_Me 08-03-2008 10:46 PM

It's also convenient that Bill Clinton is talking about have them both on the ticket. Hillary knows she cannot win.

To the people raving about her wins in Ohio and Texas......, well, she had over 20 point leads in both states 4 weeks before. She was expected to win those states pretty big, so Obama could afford to lose them. She won Ohio not too bad, but she barely won Texas. Out of it all, she didn't really gain much delegates on Obama.

He's almost certain to get most of the delegates he lost back in Mississippi.
