Because it should be about Improving which Ray hs not done, any other skater this series improved in a way at some point, Ray could already skate and dance before he first stepped onto this show

Because Donal has improved more than Ray and put much more work into his training, that's why. Yes, Ray is excellent and is a very skilled ice skater but Donal has the more likeable personality and has improved most throughout the series.

I like Donal, he has improved a lot and really deserves to win

When i see Ray's face on the telly box i want to kick and punch it, then throw it out of the window, continue to smash it into tiny bits then set fire to it...
After the fire has gone out then i jump into my car so can drive over the remains of the tv that gave me the face of Ray and sent me into that pit of rage!

Yes which is why they SHOULDN'T be allowed on the show with people who haven't even skated before because you may as well give that good person who doesnt need to improve the trophy straight away

I wasn't surprised that Ray won in the end. However, Donal did very well to come second, I wouldn't have predicted that at the start of the series!

But at the end of the day, Ray was the best skater, so he deserved to win more than anyone else considering it is a talent competition, the best wins, and that happened tonight

But I thought Jessica deserved higher marks because her flying was amazing

Just want to say Im soo glad that Donal came 2nd and got loads of support from the public, he has been amazing. Well done to Ray, you were a fantastic skater.

There was no way i would have predicted that Donal would come 2nd in week 1 judging by how much he struggled on the ice.

Also Donal was probably the least known person on the show, especially to the 16-26 year olds, me and my friends didnt know him first but we have all supported him.
