Tonight I'm a Seahawk Fan, If GB wins today and Seattle wins SNF against 49ers, Green Bay would surpass 49ers and they would be in 2nd place in the NFC. Meaning bye week.
Also I forgive them for anything they done wrong this year if they did *Week 3* |

favorite part of the Packers Game Yesterday other than putting up 55 |
Well, Green Bay's in a Pickle.
Win and they help Chicago get into the playoffs :P The Chicago Sun Times actually had on the front of it's newspaper in Green and Yellow Back The Pack Today. This is funny given how Green Bay and Chicago hate each other as much as Cats and Dogs do. Also if anyone is looking for Monday Night Football and wondering why it isn't on. There is none due to Xmas Eve. The game was actually played on Saturday between Lions and Falcons Falcons won and basically locked up home field advantage in the NFC but Calvin "Megatron" Johnson did break the single season recieving yards record. |
Well this week should be interesting in terms of seeding since there's only one more spot that's going to either the Vikings or the Bears.
AFC teams 1. Texans (Clinched AFC South) 2. Broncos (Clinched AFC West) 3. Patriots (Clinched AFC East) 4. Ravens (If Bengals Lose or Ravens Win, 4 will go to Ravens) (Leading AFC North) -Wild Card- 5. Colts (Clinched WC) (2nd AFC South) 6. Bengals (Clinched Playoff Spot) (Will win AFC North if Ravens lose and Bengals Win) (2nd AFC North) NFC Teams 1. Falcons (Clinched Home Field and NFC South) 2. Packers (Clinched NFC North) 3. 49ers (Clinch NFC West with Win or Seahawks Loss) 4. Redskins (Clinch with Win or Giants and Cowboys loss) (1st in NFC East) -Wild Cards- (Top 2 teams record wise minus division winners) 5. Seahawks (Clinched Playoff Spot) (Win NFC West with Win and 49ers loss) (2nd NFC West) 6. Vikings (Clinch with Bears loss or Vikings Win) (2nd NFC North) -In the Hunt- 7. Bears (Becomes WC with Win and Vikings Loss) (They've taken a long slide down recently from starting the season 7-1) For any newbies to Pro American Football. The teams are playing to get into the Super Bowl (Which is the equivalent of The Champs League Final) The Super Bowl will contain a member of the AFC and NFC. So in the first 3 weeks of the playoffs NFC teams will only play NFC Teams and AFC plays AFC only. The first week is the wild card week which should be the 1st week of January. The Top 2 seeds in each conference get the week off and the 3rd seed takes on the 6th and 4th faces the 5th. This will take place on Saturday and Sunday with two games on both days. Then the Divisional Round Starts. Usually the higher numbered seed will go up against the top seed and 2nd will take the other. (IE 6 will face 1 and 5 will play 2 if 6 and 5 make it to the next round) These take place the 2nd weekend of January Then the conference championships are played. Originally the NFL was two leagues, The NFL (Now NFC) and AFL (Now AFL) this would be where their seasons would end. Until they merged in the Late 50s to early 60s. Played on the third weekend of january. Then they take a week off so players can get rested for the Super Bowl. (There's the Pro Bowl where a bunch of players of the already eliminated teams play a exhibition game in Hawaii but NO ONE CARES, I'm serious.) Then usually the first weekend of Feb is the big game. Also seeding is very important. Whoever has the lower numbered seed gets to host the playoff game. Except the Super Bowl which is played on Neutral Turf. (Where a super bowl is played is decided in Advance by a few years, usually played in a Domed Stadium or a stadium located in the Deep South where it's expected to be warm. But I think 2014 or 15's will be played in New York's Meadowlands Stadium and it's expected to be cold that day) There's usually a halftime show by a famous artist and it's always broadcasted. For 2013 it's Beyonce. (In Years' Past it's been Madonna, Black Eyed Peas, The Who, Bruce Springsteen, Paul McCartney, Tom Petty.) |

Watching Bowl Games today.
I saw a pretty funny name for the Armed Forces Bowls. The "We're just giving you a reason to drink on a saturday morning" bowl :joker: |
The last week is happening right now.
Also NFC playoff situations right now that could affect who goes in (Sorry I forgot these, I figured that they would not make it until now :P) Cowboys are in via WildCard with a Win and a Giants, Bears, and Vikings Loss. Or Beat Redskins meaning they're getting in via Divisional Win AFC Playoff None that affects who makes it. tho Giants are in with a Bears and Vikings loss and a win Vikings can get in on a wildcard if Giants and Cowboys lose and Vikings win. |
Well well well, Broncos finish top of the AFC, how about that eh
|
Ugh, I didn't want to see Green Bay play in the Wild Card Games next week.
Seeding For NFC #1 Falcons #2 49ers #3 Packers #4 Redskins/Cowboys (Whoever wins their game on SNF wins the 4th seed and their Division) #5 Seahawks #6 Vikings Next Week Wild Card Games #6 Minnesota Vikings @ #3 Green Bay Packers #5 Seattle Seahawks @ #4 Washington Redskins/Dallas Cowboys AFC Seeding 1. Denver Broncos 2. New England Patriots 3. Houston Texans 4. Baltimore Ravens 5. Indianapolis Colts 6. Cincinatti Bengals 6 Bengals at 3 Houston 5 Colts at 4 Ravens (That's going to be fun, Colts were originally a Baltimore team until they relocated) I'll post who's playing on Saturday and Sunday Tomorrow. MTVN probably knows what channel they'll be on in the UK I'll post the US channels. |
Well, Redskins won and got the last spot.
Odds came out about who wins Broncos are the highest at 5:2, Lowest are Bengals at 40:1 Here's the schedule Saturday Bengals @ Texas, 4:30 PM ET Vikings @ Packers, 8:00 PM ET Sunday Colts @ Ravens, 1:00 PM ET Seahawks @ Redskins, 4:30 PM ET |
Ravens LB Ray Lewis will retire at the end of the Ravens season. A Legendary LB imo. Will probably be a first ballot Hall Of Famer.
Also Andy Reid has been fired from his job as the head coach of The Philedalphia Eagles. He's not the only firing Coaches Fired Lovie Smith, Chicago (It makes sense I'm surprised he was though) Romeo Crennel, Kansas City Ken Wisenhunt, Arizona Chan Galey, Buffalo Browns fired theirs Norm Davis, Chargers SURPRISING non firing Rex Ryan, Jets A Few GM were fired as well. Jets Browns Jaguars Chargers Speculated Head Coaches http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap100...search-tracker |

Seattle wins the last game.
Here's my predictions for the divisional round Patriots over Texans repeat of Round 1 Broncos over Ravens will be a rout but Lewis will go out with a bang. Packers over 49ers in OT with a kick by Crosby Seahawks over Falcons but it'll be close |
Reckon the Falcons will beat the Seahawks but agree about the others, although GB-Niners will be a close one
Worried about the prospect of facing NE in the Championship game |
Huh, Green Bay and Patriots are still in it and the Super Bowl is in New Orleans this year.
Super Bowl 36 had Packers and Patriots with Favre and Bledsoe in New Orleans. Now both teams have excellent QBs again, Rodgers and Brady. They still haven't had a shootout between each other yet. (Remember in 2010 Aaron Rodgers sat out their game with a concussion. Matt Flynn took over and gave Patriots a run for their money.) Also BCS Championship on right now here in the states on ESPN. |
Notre Dame :(
|
I believe the Divisional Round starts today.
|
Manning on fire and getting plenty of time, a great drive there
|
I am really starting to think that maybe it's worth playing on wild card weekend. You'll be more hotter.

Ray Lewis
