Whether or not to invite johan my moroccan neighbour if he wants to join me and my friend Alun at the pub tonight to celebrate St Davids day. He is not welsh hes moroccan so don't know if he would want to celebrate it. R.

Plenty of non Irish people celebrate St. Paddy's Day and when in Wales.........

IT seems to be a huge thing St Paddys Day. There's even events in Wales to celebrate it that the bars put on. Not sure if the good st david is celebrated outside of wales? Would be interesting to know. R.

That's because we Irish are so wonderful you see :fan: either that or we just emmigrated so much, half the world is part Irish by now :laugh: I haven't seen St Davids Day celebrated here anyhow

We get a lot of silly comments and questions like "what's so great about being welsh" especially from English people. Hear it a lot when England fans come for match days at the stadium. It's funny - never hear it from Irish, Scottish, other europeans..

Not all english people of course. I love england myself and have met just as many great english people but I understand why there's so much anti-english feeling in Wales. R.
