No it has not been confirmed yet but Emmett Scanlan obviously would want to move on to other acting roles at some point because he is a talented Actor IMO, unless they convince him to stay on a bit longer I think that Brendan will definitely be off next year!

One good thing is that Hollyoaks are starting to cast more well known and talented actors instead of going based on looks, I think this due to BK being back: So far we have Nikki Sanderson, Jeremy Sheffield and of course the returning James Sutton.

I have not really seen anything Jeremy Sheffield was in, I used to watch Holby city sometimes when he was in it, and of course he was in a horror film I saw as well but he got killed in like 10 mins lol. Oh wait he was in that other film as well where all the children started to kill the parents

I doubt Craig will be back. The actor is doing well for himself. I want to see John Paul be friends with Ste. I do get the feeling they'll get paired up eventually. :suspect:

Jennifer Metcalfe has said that she would like Leah Hackett to return to Hollyoaks.

The Mercedes McQueen actress said she hopes her on-screen sister Hackett will have a second spell on the soap, despite the fact the character Tina Reilly was killed in 2008.

"I'd love Leah Hackett to return. I saw her for dinner recently and really miss working with her," she told Inside Soap.

Praising her former co-star, Metcalfe added: "She's been going to lots of auditions and appeared in Good Cop. I'm proud of her, she's just as great as ever."

Brother Niall Rafferty abducted Leah and blew her up in an abandoned church.

Producers brought back Warren Fox (Jamie Lomas) last year after previously killing him off in a nightclub fire.
