Those are really cool Marc! Always love seeing abandoned buildings, gives an end of the world vibe... I went explory this abandoned factory complex with my friends a few years ago, people get arrested for trespassing there :umm2: but we went in broad daylight when there's no police surveillance going on :joker: so ridiculous

Eerie scenes of long-abandoned airport, empty buildings and streets criss-crossed with barbed wire in Cypriot no-man's land where nobody has been since 1970s...

I've read about this place before. It's absolutely amazing!!!!
It's actually an underwater dining/ballroom that some rich bastard built under the lake in the garden of their estate. It's got a staircase leading down inside a tower thingy that leads to that long corridor you can see in the background which you walk through to get into that room. I bet it was stunning back in the day!

There's a forum i was on before where they organised trips (in the UK) to old abandoned military installations and the like and then posted all the pictures online. Sadly though inthis country there's less and less buildings like these left as they all get torn down and forgotten.

..it seemed to flaunt all kinds of health and safety, I'm not sure I like the thought of being underwater/I'm not that keen on the Channel Tunnel and always feel a bit anxious/claustrophobic when I travel on there...I think that rich guy ended up quite poor in the end and committed suicide..I'm glad you like the thread, maybe you could post some pics in it sometimes..?...

..asylums are one of those strange things because they were probably more eerie when they weren't abandoned...
