Honestly the most excited I have been in YEARS for the start of the season. We may not win as many trophies in the first few years of the transition but at least I know we plan on playing exciting attacking football again which as a fan is just as important as winning trophies. Fabregas just seems so unlikely to me because;

1. I can't see him doing it to Arsenal. Admittedly, nowadays the majority of players don't have loyalty, but I think he does. I may be proven wrong, however.

2. He spent the best part of two summers trying to get this move. He's been there for just two seasons. To want to leave, after all the work to get there, would have made it pointless.

3. With Thiago gone, if he's worried about playing time, that shouldn't be an issue. Xavi is nearing the end of his career.

4. New manager will most likely see a place in his team for him. He'd be an idiot if he didn't.
