Altered (2006)

http://ts2.mm.bing.net/th?id=HN.6080....1&H=225&W=160

I have seen this once before, years ago, I really enjoyed on my first watch but on my second watch I felt a bit different.

I didn't enjoyed as much as my last watch but this time I bloody LOVED IT!

I loved the effects in this movie, they were outstanding, I really enjoyed the story was nice and dark and there were some rally good tense scenes in this movie, that never falls flat.

I liked how Alien looked looked and really enjoyed some of Gore effect in this movie.

I wasn't big fan of last scene of movie, it didn't really fit in with the rest of the movie.

The acting was decent from cast but some poor acting in a few scenes.

Great movie! 8 out of 10

Before today, I have never actually seen James bond movie in full
before, I seen parts of some movies.

Dr. No (1962)!

So I decided for the whole of April 2014, I will watch every single
James bond movies.

So I started of with Dr. No (1962)!

I liked title start of the movie, that tune is still stuck in my head
at the moment.

The movie dose not take long to start at all, the song of 3 old men
walking,(a song singing about which I thought was really clever) but
then turn out not to be , who you think they are!

This movie is not action packed from start to end however it dose have
some great action scenes throughout the movie.

Some decent car chase scenes, one car chase scenes looked a bit out
dated.

I liked there few turns in story, you think the story is going one way
but then take a turn, I really enjoyed this twist and turns in the
movie.

I really enjoyed the last 20 minutes of the movie, I was hoping for
longer fight scenes at end, a little disappointing with that.

The acting was great from whole cast!

As I thought this movie was really good, before I saw it, I did think
whole movie would feel out dated but only one scene actually felt a bit
out dated the rest of the movie was fine, even for today!

I though this movie was really good 7 out of 10

Frozen.

Excellent. Best Disney since Beauty and the Beast. 9/10.

Edit: WAIT, Wreck-It Ralph was better. Never mind.

..Fracture, because it was on TV...it was ok...

DrunkerThanMoses 03-04-2014 08:06 AM

Penny Dreadful - It was okay, kinda boring in parts but Rachel Miner held the film together with some top notch acting.

Riding the Bullet - Actually did not mind it. Was kinda ****ed up in parts but the ending was a bit disappointing.

dom hemingway 7/10

Frozen 9/10

Killers - 5/10

Pretty enjoyable actually and the plot is quite interesting for a comedy. I've always liked Ashton Kutcher, he's got an unfair rep. Always great in comedy movies and was in Butterfly Effect aswell.

Zoolander - 4/10

Has 3 or 4 funny moments but it's just so ridiculous, lol. Still would like to watch the sequel though for some reason.

Cougar Hunting - 1/10

Don't even know why I watched this.

21 Jump Street - 6/10

Had always assumed Channing Tatum was a terrible actor just because of the roles he used to take but this and Magic Mike have changed my mind, he's actually pretty decent. One of the best comedies I've seen of the last few years. Great cameo towards the end aswell, I hadn't realized the movie was a sequel to a TV show from years ago.

The Hobbit An Unexpected Journey - Extended Edition

If there's one film which didn't need an extended cut, its this one. I fell asleep at least three times.

Muppets MW - 7/10

Saving Mr. Banks 9/10

Tom Hanks, Emma Thompson, and Paul Giamatti gave amazing performances.

I started the movie thinking meh, it's probably gonna be a bit boring, but i'll give it 30 mins, just because i loved Marty Poppins when i was a kid. Ended up loving this film. Fantastic story. We usually think of Hollywood as just a bunch of businessmen figuring out how to make the most money, this film shows the interesting events and people behind the scenes of actually getting a movie made.

I do like post apocalyptic films and this felt like a somewhat original take on one, the cast were good 6/10

Sparks
http://i.imgur.com/RZQ2y1F.jpg
It was trying to tell a story of superheroes from the 40s, it looked kinda tacky in color, they should have done the whole thing in black and white 3/10

The Machine
http://i.imgur.com/8X3E84K.jpg
It was a bit lame, the music was kinda annoying 3/10

Space Pirate Captain Harlock

god what a waste of my life watching this movie. it was phone booth but with a piano

Bernie 2002 i think - 1/10 jack black - hated it so much i never watched it all. just people being interviewed about some guy while he goes around town being unfunny. zzzzzzzz

The Great Gatsby (2013) - 8.5/10
I loved this, really don't get the negative reviews at all. Obviously it was going to be controversial, it being based on a literary classic and having Jay Z do the soundtrack, but it worked and I thought the performances were great as well. Especially from Tobey Maguire and of course Leo.

The Lone Ranger - 7/10
Much much better than I was expecting, some of the action scenes on the train are superb and I thought Johnny Depp was great as Tonto.
