I really didn't think they were gonna kill her off.

Brilliant episode and an effectively emotional send-off for Clara imo. I just hope they don't undo it in the final two episodes (I love Clara but reversing the impact of this exit would just be a cop-out so I hope they let it stick).

Definately, Clara showed promise in S7b, but most of her screentime was more about the mystery of who she was, rather than actually being about her as a character.

Spoiler:

She is set to appear in Hell Bent (episode 12), as a waitress in the Utah Diner seen in the silence episodes, however by the spoilers given, it appears she won't remember the doctor.
Theories so far say:
Episode 11: Death of Clara
Episode 12: Shadows, Remembrance of Clara
Episode 13: Echo of Clara (like how she appeared in different times)

The Synopsis for the Christmas episode has also been released along with that image above^

here's the synopsis:

Spoiler:

It’s Christmas Day on a remote human colony and the Doctor is hiding from Christmas Carols and Comedy Antlers. But when a crashed spaceship calls upon the Doctor for help, he finds himself recruited into River Song’s squad and hurled into a fast and frantic chase across the galaxy.

King Hydroflax (Greg Davies) is furious, and his giant Robot bodyguard is out-of-control and coming for them all! Will Nardole (Matt Lucas) survive? And when will River Song work out who the Doctor is?

All will be revealed on a starliner full of galactic super-villains and a destination the Doctor has been avoiding for a very long time.

Heaven Sent: Advanced Reviews

So the pre-air reviews of this episode have pretty much all been really positive. Looks to be a great episode although some are saying that it could be divisive, as some might not 'get' it. I'll post a couple here if anyone's interested.

Can't wait for Saturday's episode!

Glenn. 26-11-2015 02:45 AM

It would have been better if the BBC didn't reveal so much in the synopsis. I feel like it's been ruined for me before watching. I am looking forward to it though.

Yeah presumably the cliffhanger for Heaven Sent is going to be the
Spoiler:

Some fairly big spoilers were going around on Twitter earlier today, so I would advise everyone to be cautious when looking at anything other than the official accounts and trusted sites if you don't want the finale ruined...

Pete. 28-11-2015 08:03 PM

That was good but a bit too long

Next week's looks incredible though

AProducer'sWetDream 28-11-2015 08:32 PM

Give Peter Capaldi all the awards!

Scarlett. 28-11-2015 09:57 PM

That was possibly up there with my favourite episodes...

Scarlett. 29-11-2015 12:58 AM

That CG looks movie quality...

Ross. 29-11-2015 11:01 PM

Okay so I've just watched last weeks someone hold me

Firewire 30-11-2015 12:17 AM

that was absolutely amazing.

do they re-gen Clara in the finale?

Glenn. 30-11-2015 01:15 AM

Isn't there 'a' Clara on Gallifrey? One of her echoes?

Tom4784 30-11-2015 01:21 AM

It was a great episode although I think it had pacing issues which dampened it a bit for me.

AProducer'sWetDream 04-12-2015 11:17 PM

My favourite has to be the "CAROL SINGERS WILL BE CRITICISED" sign on the Tardis- this looks much more lighthearted and fun than most of the recent Christmas specials (which is a good thing, IMO).

Lostie! 05-12-2015 02:09 PM

I can't believe it's finale night already. I'm both extremely excited and distraught.

This series has been one of my favourites and Capaldi has cemented himself as my favourite Doctor this year.

I loved the ending, when they first brought Clara back, I thought it was a bad move, but by the end, I thought it was fantastic, the idea of Clara getting to travel by herself before eventually facing the raven.

AProducer'sWetDream 05-12-2015 11:18 PM

I really enjoyed this episode and for me it tied up more loose ends than most Moffat finales (we finally found out why Missy chose Clara). I loved when the Doctor played Clara's theme on the guitar, and every scene on Gallifrey was excellent. Hopefully they revisit 'The Woman' (in the barn) at some point in the future, and I'm certain that we'll be seeing more of Gallifrey in the coming years. Still not entirely comfortable with the idea of the Doctor forgetting Clara, although it does make sense that he could not even bear to remember her, and the fact that Clara and Me are roaming around the Universe in a Tardis cheapens her exit somewhat for me. Still, glad they didn't completely reverse it and she'll still have to face the raven someday.

Overall, an enjoyable and satisfying end to what has been my favourite series since 2010.
