Maisie, Bill, JJ, HRVY i'd say for the final could be possible

Vanessa 30-11-2020 10:09 AM

No, we cant lose Maise. I want her to stay

Nicky91 05-12-2020 07:21 AM

i worry for JJ but his training looks really really good, energetic, his swivels (backward and forward looked stunning in training clip)

i kinda think Jamie will again be in danger zone, and i agreed with Lord Webber about Ranvir might be in danger too, a more forgettable musicals theme between everything else

Bill idk, i am not expecting too high scores for him either, maybe bottom of leaderboard could be possible, but it all comes down if he gets the technique right as well as the character (the mask was a problem for Davood, not being able to see through that well enough so idk if Bill finds it a problem too)

HRVY, :umm2: whoever idea was it to put him and janette in same gold dress needs to be sacked

i feel like Maisie could be top of leaderboard this week, her Jive training looked incredible

It wasn't street in my opinion and if it was meant to be Bill and Jamie did it better imo

Bill & Jamie's efforts were more authentic imo.

Although what Vanessa said does make sense, because it seems like Lucas McFarlane had no interest in choreographing Street dancing.:joker:

:umm2: LOL at those silly conspiracies

Shirley had given Clara a 10 remember, for that charleston

Clara was really bad in both Samba (she really dodged a bullet there) and her Jive was really last chance for survival, she failed and the public deservedly chose not to save her either

I'm mostly just messing around in that particular post.

But I definitely think that Shirley is favouring the men this series, don't forget she wanted to save Max over Maisie.

Hrvy and Jeanette are wearing similar gold costumes from the original One number.
So it's not random.

Vanessa 05-12-2020 09:45 AM

Good luck to all the couples.
Any of them could go.
This is the quarter finals, so anyone who leaves has done very well to get this far.

that came down to just minor details, she also liked Maisie back then, but she thought Max had improved even more on his frame in that dance off so those were tiny details

Nicky91 05-12-2020 04:23 PM

i personally would never do lifts even when its allowed to

lifts and sitting at a table or a bench is like a waste of actual dancing time ;) i like lets dance for that reason, no gimmicks just back to basic dance content alone

Nicky91 05-12-2020 04:54 PM

movies and musicals week i make an exception for the ''extra's or gimmicks''

Week 7: Take your seats for Musicals Week!

Quote:

It's going to be a very special Strictly Saturday - not only have we reached the Quarter Final, but it's also Musicals Week!

So prepare yourself for a night of flat-out entertainment, with some fabulous tunes and routines from our remaining six couples. We've got some real stage spectaculars coming to the Ballroom, including a Jive to Everybody's Talking About Jamie, a Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Charleston and an Argentine Tango to Phantom of the Opera. What's not to love?

But the fun will come to an end for another couple this weekend, as only five pairs can go through the Semi Final. It's up to you to save your favourites when Claudia announces the vote is open towards the end of the show - just head to the Strictly homepage and make sure you're logged in when that moment comes.

But before that, our ode to musicals will kick off with an extra special (and extra sparkly) Priscilla Queen of the Desert performance from our Pros, so make sure you're watching from the get-go tonight at 7.25pm on BBC One!
.

JJ is on 1st and didn't mention his disability, kids, military experience or heritage. Could be in trouble.

hijaxers 05-12-2020 06:37 PM

Wow he is very light on his feet , good performance. Very entertaining.

Amy Jade 05-12-2020 06:37 PM

He was ****e too

Vanessa 05-12-2020 06:38 PM

That was alright.
Not brilliant, but ok.

Amy Jade 05-12-2020 06:38 PM

I hope Craig calls out the stomping

Mitchell 05-12-2020 06:38 PM

Really not great, like always.

Beso 05-12-2020 06:41 PM

Wrong film for that performance..

Vanessa 05-12-2020 06:42 PM

He's very slow. The Charleston is supposed to be fast.

:joker: if he does another waltz anytime if he stays, he'll likely be then standing still through it.
That's the only level he hasn't gone at, fully stopped.

I agree it was a slow Charleston.

Pja1969 05-12-2020 06:45 PM

Vote Bill and for those who have improved. Not hrvy because you fancy him. It's a dance competition and most winners have been ones who have shown improvement not the ones who have dance experience

Mitchell 05-12-2020 06:46 PM

Lovely song, shame about the dance not being exciting
