I’m not really clear on how the betting works, but yes, her odds are now about 71%. I believe that’s what Jordan’s were last year. Marcello still at 20% iirc

I have a question though…. Why would anyone bet £5 to win £2?? Surely at that point everyone just stops betting on that person because there’s no reward, and the odds stop going up?

Its a mystery to me as well


We used to bet on the Grand National occasionally but only if the horse we’d had a tip on was 10:1 though… where you bet a £1 to win £10

Marcello could pull off a Helen esche win still then; she was around 13% right? It’s also quite similar as the reason Helen pulled it off was because Ashleigh was also so polarising so it was also an anti Ashleigh vote; similar to Ali.

I wouldn’t say it’s a dead cert yet; but I would say it’s a guarantee the top 2 will be Ali and Marcello imo.

This is exactly what I think will happen. I didn’t want the Helen/Ashleigh series as I only lasted two weeks due to finding Helen appalling to watch. How was Ashleigh more polarising than HELEN?!

Back then there wasn't such a thing as free votes. Ashleigh was at risk on numerous occasions leading up to the final whilst Helen was safe due to being given immunity on opening night. Helen fans could save their cash for the final, whilst Ashleigh fans had to spend again and again to keep her in, let alone have her win the show.

Ah I see! I didn't realise Helen won immunity for the whole show on opening night. That's insane?

i still don't believe Ali will win, she just doesn't have the personality profile of a bb winner. I would suggest Hanah is a more likely winner than Ali. I think Ali will finish 3rd or 4th

I must have blanked it out because I watched for the few couple of weeks but turned off because it was just Helen arguing with everyone. :laugh:

One thing that’s interesting to me is I’ve noticed Marcello is actually not second in popularity in most of the polls I’m seeing. He’s only in the top 2 on FB and Digital Spy. I still feel like he will be in the top 2 and have a decent chance of winning, but it gives me pause. Is it possible he’s not as popular as we think he is?

On oddschecker Ali is still 4/11 (around 71%) and Marcello 11/2 (around 15%). Are you going off William Hill?

Oh on William Hill Ali is now 2/7 (77%) but if oddschecker combines all the different bookies I’m going to trust them more!
