It's true, love the fact that she's not afraid to be controversial some artists that are just go for the niceties every time annoy me because no-one is perfect;).

They've only had 1 week at #1 and that will end this week

The fact JLS have had 5 number ones repulses me.

Their only 2 songs worthy of number one IMO are Everybody In Love and Eyes Wide Shut. And the latter didn't even manage it :hmph:

Ikr and even those were awful. I lold when Outta ThiS World got slated by critics :joker:

I am less repulsed by syphillis than I am JLS :yuk:

Cher will be at radio 1 today for the chart update :amazed:

Il Divo, Andrew Johnston, Susan Boyle, Labrinth, Steve Brookstein, Leon Jackson, Same Difference, Rhydian, Paul Potts, Escala, Joe McElderry.....

Take all the classical acts out of that list for a start as Cowell doesn't market them for the UK charts..

That leaves: Steve Brookstien - number 1 debut
Leon Jackson - no1 debut
Joe Mcelderry - no1 debut.

Same Difference don't count as they're just a joke :)

Susan Boyle isn't classical and had performances on X Factor to market herself to the UK charts.

Steve, Leon and Joe debuted at #193, #3, #3.

And Same Difference released singles and albums.. they count

Simon hasn't made Cher get #1, its only really been promoted on small music channels compaired to JLS who last week were on This Morning :S

Steve's debut single, Against all Odds - number 1
Leons debut single, When you Believe - number 1
How's debut single, The Climb - number 1

Winners singles don't count, they are obviously going to get #1 and the artist has nothing at all to do with them.

Their first proper singles are what they release after actually working on them

And you don't find that odd? That somebody trays had hardly any promotion has entered the charts at no1?

Well she has more followers on twitter and facebook + their song has been out 2 weeks now it was bound to decline in sales.

If they were both released the same week JLS would have got #1, but thankfully good old Cher decided to release it a week later. Smart girl that she is

I think perhaps quite a high percentage of her Twitter followers aren't in fact fans.

Probably about 0.1% aren't her fans one for each article

There are watchdogs in place to check for foul play with record sales. Simon is not stupid enough to risk his rep and standing in the industry by fixing sales. If thats what you mean.

Indeed many XF acts have flopped. I think Cowell is a realist and just lets them sink or swim by themselves. He can't keep covering their arses. Plus he always has new talent lined up constantly.

And Chers record is very commercial and catchy. You may not rate it but its really not hard to see why its a hit. Indeed it actually sounds like several other hits combined.

I like JLS but am rooting for Cher:).
