A decade ago, electronic music merged with pop in a very noticeable way, and all of a sudden, radio waves were flooded with the biggest names in music, as well as some very special newcomers, who all pushed dance-pop onto the masses in a very loud way. Singles like Lady Gaga’s “Just Dance” and “Poker Face,” as well as The Black Eyed Peas’ “Boom Boom Pow” were unavoidable, and for years following those smashes, it was all about who could plug in and light up the dance floor.

Lady Gaga was one of the first artists currently helping usher in this new era with her latest album Joanne, which saw her put down the disco stick and pick up an acoustic guitar, at least for much of the record. The album started at No. 1, and it helped her land the headlining spot at this year’s Super Bowl.

Since then, a number of superstars have decided to stick with full bands and guitars, and some of the most famous have been able to make it work, at least for a little while. Miley Cyrus’ new single “Malibu” takes the listener to the beach with a Modest Mouse, indie rock-styled pop tune, while former One Direction member Harry Styles went one step further and dove headfirst into light glam rock with his first solo album and its lead single “Sign Of The Times.”

She's cut it down though, she only sings about 1 minute of it, i think it's too much strain on her vocals

I went to the BTWB twice, artRave twice (was gonna go a third time but i couldn't hack the queueing for a third time) and then going JWT once, wbu?

Haven't watched many performances, but i know that she spends most of the show on the main stage, a couple on one of the other circle stages and a few songs at the back, so i know where the best place to stand is

omg thats so exciting :amazed: You'll have an amazing time, I'm sure

Left of centre stage as you're looking at if for the show, then once she finished The Cure, run to where she performed Come To Mama/The Edge of Glory because that's where she is for the encore and where she finishes the show

Billboard estimates that, based potential earnings from both the arena and stadium events, her Joanne World Tour could potentially top $100 million in earnings from nearly 1 million tickets sold. Lady Gaga’s previous tour, ArtRave: The ARTPOP Ball, brought in $83 million from 74 shows.

The Joanne World Tour’s first night at a U.S. building came on Aug. 5 at the Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, Wash. The concert grossed $2.1 million with an attendance of 19,296 - a 36% increase on the turnstile count over her last performance in the venue during 2013’s Born This Way tour. And with a top ticket price of $251 compared to $175 four years ago, the gross was an even higher percentage, jumping 72% this year compared to her Born This Way performance.
