Do we think this is the best edited 20 player season? Not that that's difficult lol

Nicaragua is the only other one I can think of as competition

Purple Kelly had about two-and-a-half confessionals and one of those was about milking yourself, so... yeah, I'd say pretty confidently that it's at least the most evenly edited 20-person season

Allison has had a very low key edit, she was talked about being a Superwoman and a great physical threat in this episode without much to back it up this season.

MB. 29-11-2018 05:29 PM

Well Angelina was talked about being Tracy Flick from Election and physically threatened Jeff Probst into giving the tribe rice, so there!

He's easily my least fave

The way he was like "Angelina talked to us about some of the negotiation points she wanted to bring up to Jeff and GOD SHE IS SO ANNOYING even though I agreed with all the points she raised"

Well obviously!

I'm not even a Christian fan, but he made that first immunity challenge hilarious. One of the best in a while.

Alec and his butt will be missed.

I'll also miss drunk Carl and sober/hungry Carl, but I'm glad we got to see enough godfather Carl to tick Gabby off.

Gabby finally coming through as a "2-steps-ahead" semi villainess:love: I saw tiny bits of it when the David's pulled off that first blindside and she laughed in the Goliaths' faces. Her and Alison coming full circle with the ding sealed it.

Even then, i'm rewatching the editing is kinda terrible? Lest we forget "have you ever had a bad day? SASH HAS!" after Sash's third UTR1 episode in a row.

It definitely has to be up there (but I wouldn't consider Nicaragua as one of the BEST edited seasons)... like I usually think people give far too much slack on the editing because I'd say it's difficult to get everyone/even most involved in the story at all times BUT this season is doing it about as good as you can so maybe Survivor CAN do better than they normally do.

I'd say Alison or John have been the worst edited (of the ones who lasted a while) but even then they have had their air time to a degree. More than a Sunday Burquest or something.

DouglasS 01-12-2018 06:45 PM

People are overrating this season imo. It’s been good, but it’s not great. Every episode there is a narrative of a David looking for an immunity idol and finding one, or a clue, or an advantage. It’s happened like every episode and it’s got boring! I don’t understand why women don’t look for idols? As it was mentioned the static was something like 20% women, and about 10 men have found things this season so it will have plummeted further

Alison is visible though to be fair, and so was John. Usually there’s someone completely invisible who gets this far. The edit has been reasonably balanced for survivor.

Just caught up and Daddy Carl </3 something about a scrawny, balding, alcoholic truck driver does things to me apparently :umm: my shamelessness aside he was a great character and his edit taking such a massive hit was pretty hilarious.

Angelina's negotiation
Christian in general
Gabby melting down every fifteen minutes
Alison's story arc
Nick being UTR1 for a whole episode

JerseyWins 06-12-2018 12:03 AM

Yeah I was gonna say before this episode that I think last episode's Carl boot was the start of the Davids actually cannibalizing each other :omgno:

JerseyWins 06-12-2018 12:06 AM

I'm actually kinda liking Nick the start of this episode  (more than I ever have this season anyway)

And I'm just saying... USUALLY when I don't really like or care for a castaway and then suddenly start to like them one episode, it turns out to be their boot episode a lot of the time.

Kara

Calderyon 06-12-2018 12:06 AM

Well it was a bad move or Christian to get Carl out f, great for Gabby.

Calderyon 06-12-2018 12:13 AM

Maybe a Gabby win isn´t so far fetched after all.

JerseyWins 06-12-2018 12:16 AM

One thing worse than Angelina on another season of Survivor.... Angelina and her mom on the next Blood vs. Water

Calderyon 06-12-2018 12:24 AM

Gabby getting Christian out because of jealousy?

Calderyon 06-12-2018 12:29 AM

8 left in the game and you are trying to get your closest ally out.

Smart? Wouldn´t be so sure.

JerseyWins 06-12-2018 12:29 AM

I seriously can't believe that @ Gabby :joker:

This will be interesting after the IC lol

Calderyon 06-12-2018 12:30 AM

Also surely when Christian goes, she becomes the biggest thread strategically?

JerseyWins 06-12-2018 12:35 AM

Down to Davie & Kara :clap1:

Kara with the IC win :clap1:
