Didn't we already know Yusef lit the fire? When the evil uncle bloke appeared for Tamwar's wedding we found out then didn't we? Well I certainly knew that Yusef had done it anyway... |
The Yusef/Zainab storyline is annoying me now, it's dragging on too long. I can't wait for him to get his comeuppance, surely he will die in the fire.

I hate Derek. God, I miss the days of Andy Hunter/Dennis Rickman/Johnny Allen. That's what I call exciting. Do we want to see Derek snogging a crackhead (a fit one, for that matter)? Can't wait until Bryan bloody Kirkwood leaves.
|
They are really building the stalker to be Derek....it's not him then :joker:
|
Love it - Your partners being stalked so what do you do? Throw an open house party :laugh2:
|
Tonights episode was really poor, I think every character annoyed me at one point or another. The writing was atrocious and I'm bored of this stalker storyline now.

Sending a text to Jean pretending it was Stacey to save Mo? Why the hell would they do that, after they know how much Jean misses her. Horrible bastards :bored:

This show has really hit the pits now. Can't stand Kat and Alfie after I liked them originally in their first stint. He's really destroyed every likeable thing about them. Tonight's episodes just took the mick. Why should Jean suffer for selfish Mo?
As for the Masood story, most unbelievable and convoluted tripe ever. They spent months dragging out the predictable plot of Yusef breaking up the marriage for Zainab to say "You tried to kill me in a fire? Meh, let's get married anyway". Ridiculous. I know it's supposed to show the effects of mental abuse but it's not in the least bit believable. Especially everyone not batting an eyelid about it or trying to talk to Zainab, like her own sons. It's even worse than the Christian/Syed storylines. |
Never fear, good old Ricky is back in town

I actually enjoyed Friday's episode.
|
So did I. I'm going to miss Pat so much. :(
|
Anyone else miss 2005 EastEnders? :(
|
Yes, EE was better in 2005 but it's no use gloating on the past. It looks like Kirkwood is going to be sticking around for a while unfortunately.
Worth nothing that the episode on New Years Day is a 70 minute long episode, I think you can guess why. |
The Yusef storyline conclusion is going to be good;).
|
Apart from Chrissy and Den's murder plot 2005/2006 was a pretty dreadful time for the show aswell from what little I remember I didn't watch it much.
Currently the show is better than it's been for a while (mostly due to Moon's taking a backseat) but it's still pretty bad. I've not enjoyed it since the live episode really. They're ignoring good characters and force feeding us tripe. |
Ian and Mandy bit was terrible tonight. I can't myself caring what happens with them, and the walking in the pub bit was silly and cringey
|
I'm watching now and totally confused with everything...
