Lol u sexy beast giggs
|
Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs are United legends:devil:, it had to be Giggsy who got us the late winner at Norwich on his 900th appearance. Glad they both scored!
My stream went dead as it was not on TV but United got complacent again and it seems not another impressive performance, but at least we got the win:). Rooney and Cleverley out of the England friendly match on Wednesday. |
900 not out.
|
SAF really needs to sort out the players again, complacency is creeping in too much in our recent performances:(:bored:.

Manchester United winger Ryan Giggs has revealed that he is relishing the Premier League challenge as much as ever after scoring a later winner against Norwich City in his 900th game for the club.
Sir Alex Ferguson's men took the lead in the seventh minute through a Paul Scholes header, the champions then took their foot off the gas somewhat and allowed Grant Holt to pull the hosts level later in the game. The Red Devils were saved by the man who has become a Manchurian, as he finished off a move in injury time to steal all three points. The midfielder has now made 900 appearances for United, more than any player for any club, and the 38-year-old is still enjoying the game as well as already looking forward to next season. He told MUTV: "To play 900 games for Manchester United is obviously something to be proud of. "Especially growing up as a United fan. "When you start off, you just set yourself little goals - to get into the team and obviously to stay in the team. Then you get a little bit greedy and want to win things, and then win more things. I don't think you ever envisage you're going to play that many games. "I'm enjoying my football more than ever. The club want me to carry on so I want to carry on. I'm hungry and still want to play. I look forward to next season - hopefully after winning something this season." The former Welsh international also used Scholes, who recently came out of retirement to make a return to Ferguson's side, as an example of why he is not ready to stop playing just yet. "Seeing how much Scholesy missed it and seeing him now enjoying training and games, and playing so well, that is something I've got to think of as well," he added. |

Sir Alex Ferguson believes David de Gea is beginning to demonstrate he possesses the ability to be Manchester United No.1 for many years to come.
The Premier League champions spent £18 million to secure the services of the 21-year-old goalkeeper from Atletico Madrid last summer following the retirement of veteran 'keeper Edwin van de Sar. De Gea, however, endured a testing start to his Old Trafford career, and had seen himself demoted to the bench after a number of hapless displays. The Spaniard is, though, growing in confidence with every passing game, and was voted man-of-the-match for his display in the victory against Norwich at Carrow Road on Sunday. And, says Ferguson, this is continuation of the fine form De Gea has shown since the defeat against Liverpool in late January. "He's being doing great the kid since that Liverpool game when he had a disappointing day but he's growing all the time and he proved today what a good goalkeeper he's going to be," said Ferguson, according to skysports.com. "We always know he has the potential since his time at Atletico Madrid, but today that was another confirmation of how good he's going to be." Ferguson's comments follow those of Manchester United defender Jonny Evans, who says De Gea is improving with every game he plays for the 19 time champions. "From day one, David's shot stopping has been unbelievable," Evans told manutd.com. "He pulls off saves that you can't believe. He just needs a bit of confidence and he seems to be getting that." :) |
Manchester United defender Jonny Evans has hit out at critics who believe the Northern Ireland international is struggling at club level, The Daily Mail reports.
The 24 year old was sent off in the Manchester derby at Old Trafford, where United were beaten 6-1 by a rampaging Manchester City. Evans is hopeful that the critics can look past the game against City and focus on his more recent run in the side, where he has featured regularly in both domestic and European football. Northern Ireland face Norway this week and Evans believes his return to the squad is a testimony to the talent and form he is showing. Evans said: ‘I feel I have hit the ground running this season and I feel better than I ever have. I’m stronger and fitter and I believe my game has reflected that. I am also feeling in good shape ahead of Wednesday (against Norway). As for me, people will look back to the derby game against Manchester City and think my season hasn’t gone well, but I think I’m playing well.’ The defender has 28 caps for his country and appealed to Northern Ireland boss Michael O’Neill to utilise his strengths in central defence. Evans plays the majority of time at full-back for his country and wants to play in his strongest position of centre-back when Norway visit on Wednesday. The 24 year old also wants fans to forget his errors for Northern Ireland and focus on their bid to reach the 2014 World Cup. |
If we don't drop Evra today we WILL LOSE. Lennon will rape him even more than per and it will cost us badly.
De Gea Rafeal Smalling Ferdinand Fabio Nani Carrick Jones Young Rooney Welbeck Giggs just CANNOT play today he offers NO defersive cover anymore and gives the ball away way too much for a game like today Fabio is a bit of a risk but the way Paddy has been defensing one i would be willing to take |
So glad we beat Spurs even though we were not at our best and grinded out the result:).
I thought David De Gea, Rio Ferdinand, Jonny Evans and Ashley Young stood out in particular. Glad Rooney scored again, he has worked really hard on his headers and Young's two goals were good. |
Im very suprised about how well we done tbh. De Gea and Evans were the stand out players for me
On a more sour note Jones is not a fullback and him ahead of Raf is a joke tbh. Also it was brilliant to see Pettruci there another top talent |
Nani close to agreeing new United deal:).

Paul Pogba is going to join Juventus.

Let's put City in their place - Jonny Evans sounds rallying call to United team-mates http://bit.ly/yBtj3N #MUFC #MCFC

Zeki Fryers is to commit to a new contract with Manchester United in the next few days.

Someone signs at least.
I really want Larnell to make it along wIth his buddy Danny :( |
How stupid is Glen Johnson? Why did he need to reiginite this? Typical LFC playing the victim, never their fault even though Suarez' actions towards Evra got condemnation from all quarters...

Looking forward to the game vs Athletic Club tonight, it will be a test but I hope we can get the win:).
|
|
In all honesty Fryers and Fabio should be playing LB next season. Evra is a liabilty there and would much prefer to see him on the wing. I would also like Nani to be given a free role just behind the striker like he is given with Pourtugal
|
Remove Evra from the team and the Left Side attack would not be the same.
