500 Days of Summer- Really, really bad. The only good scene was the musical scene after Joseph Gordon-Levitt got laid. 4/10

Prometheus- Everything wrong with science fiction at the moment. But the shooting locations were amazing. 6/10

Joy Ride 2 - Felt rush from the start, the acting was awful and the characters were so annoying I didnt give a **** that they died.... some decent torture scenes though - 2/5

Wolf Creek 2 - Was not bad, I like that like the first one it was un-expecting. They spent the first half of the film focusing on a couple thinking they are the main characters only for them die half way through and have a passer by turn into the main survivor. Some good moments - 3/5

Captain America: The Winter Soldier

It's probably the best Marvel film to date which surprised me since I didn't really care for the first one.

8/10

..The Secret Life of Walter Mitty..Ben Stiller was much better than I thought he would be, a lovely movie and as good as the original....8/10...

Proxy (2013)

This movie nasty opening, with lady who heavy pregnant and his mugged by some person in hooded, who really wanted her unborn baby dead.

Then Esther wakes up in the hospital and find out her unborn baby is dead, you might think you feel sorry for,

As the moves goes learn, ( all the women in this movie are Messed up) As learn, start of the movie, was not want seemed.

First hour is about Esther , who first feel sorry for until the curve and then she become friends with another women in group Melanie

So Esther gets closer to her but is hurt by her lies, so she does something really unforgivable.

There some slow parts in the movie, about hour into, I love the slow motion scene, .

Melanie take center stage of the next hour and lead to ending moment, which may surprise people.

I enjoyed, until very last scene a abrupt ending

However this really a horror movie, it felt more like very dark drama , with some blood moments here and there.

6/7 out of 10

Tokarev -2014 5/10 nicolas cage

just as the critics love him again and sayits a return to form doing the boring drama movie "joe" straight away comes this film. ( think taken with a twist) its not a good film but its not terrible . bit of twist at the end and the main end is surprising and not what i wanted
its cage so gets a 5.

Vampire academy - 2014 2/10

been a big vampire fan long before it got popular since the crap twilight were flooded with awful vampire movies. This is a crap it really is . hot people talking and bitching all the way nothing actually happens. i wanted to like it but its not good.
like the girl though rose.

Same... although we didn't watch it together, right Ammz?

I was a little bewildered by Mitty while I watched it. I found it very melancholy and bleak at the start... but there are some extraordinary moments and I've spent a lot of time thinking about it since I saw it last night.

I'm also giving it 8/10

Have you watched the Twilight films? They're actually quite good stories...

If you like vampire films, I'd recommend Byzantium, if you haven't watched it. A really good take on "the vampire".

..that's the official line anyway..but yeah, it's a bit of a 'thinking' movie but those are my favourite type...I agree with the melancholy and I think it was to contrast how surreal the rest of it was...a 'watch again' movie I think..actually I should have given it 9/10 because of the soundtrack/Space Oddity...

LOL... You really need to see my Eurovision entry from last year.

I liked the Twilight books and films, I liked the Volturi... it was a good concept, I thought, and the relationship with the wolves. Anyhoo, can't please everyone I guess.

Yes, Beautiful Creatures was okay. Have you see The Moth Diaries with Lily Cole? It's loosely based on 'Carmilla', a brilliant book recommended to me by Zee - who knows more about vampire fiction than anyone I've ever met. It's a good watch/read.

Yeah, the soundtrack was brilliant, and the acoustic 'Space Oddity' was really good, made me think of Shaun actually LOL...

A Haunting in Connecticut - It was really creepy and the story wasn't bad by horror standards 7/10

Livia 28-04-2014 12:31 PM

The Artist. A complete bore-fest, I expected so much more. I didn't realise that all the best bits were the bits they'd shown in clips. Loved the dog. That is all. 3/10. All 3 points are for the dog.

..I recorded that because I was busy doing something and couldn't watch it but maybe I won't bother now..

Blood Feast 2: All U Can Eat (2002) - Crap acting, disgusting gory blood scenes, plot holes that made no sense... loved it. 4/5

I couldn't figure out if I enjoyed it or if I found it ridiculously boring
