that Frog creature made people see those who they had lost, Graham seeing Grace but he found out she wasn't grace when she said don't worry about ryan he'll be fine, cause that is the exact opposite of what his grace would say |

anyway i've noticed Tosin Cole's bad acting, also the doctor could've just had Yaz and Graham as companions, Ryan doesn't really add anything to the team slightly offtopic but nice BBC Christmas commercial which was just before this episode last night :hee: |
It was okay.
What I really want to know is.... did they only have a TARDIS interior for 2 days filming? Where is it? |

I don't actually mind. There can be times where the convenience of the Tardis spoils a story because the writer uses it as a cheap way of resolving something, rather than being a bit original.
However, they haven't sacrificed the far too overused sonic screwdriver. PLEASE, allow it to pick locks and stuff and not detect/solve bloody everything. It's beyond a joke at this point. |

Then again, if they took it away from her, we'd probably have more of that eating the soil stuff to figure out where they are.
Although, considering they were in the present day this week, you'd think one of them would've figured that out with their smartphone. |

They should be able to tell when and where via the magic of their mobile bloody phone. :fist: |
No shade but I think I must have had a "micronap" during the episode because my recollection of the events was Graham saying bye to Grace, then they were back in the real world - apparently there was a talking frog or something?

I really enjoyed it, the plot was interesting, the threat of the sentient universe and the moths were well written and, in the universe's case, sympathetic.
One thing this series has done well (although the effect has been lessened through overuse) is presenting aliens as often misunderstood good guys and I like how this episode leaned into that while making the universe's morality more complicated than the other good aliens thus far. It's sympathetic but still a massive threat to everything that has to be dealt with. Ryan continues to be a problem as always though. He fit better in this episode but, tbh, he could have easily not been in it and nothing would have been lost. Yazz as a character is finding her feet and Graham's excellent as always but Ryan needs to go. I also think this was the best showing for Jodie's Doctor yet, although the writers need to be brave and have her lose the screwdriver as often as the doctors typically loses access to the Tardis, it's such a lazy crutch of a writing tool. |

Well, they've not had a proper story in three years so it's been a decent break.
Even then... Spoiler: |

Am I the only one who wouldn't have found that to be an earth shattering reveal?
