My posts about watching it were all from the first month it was on air - eight months ago. I think I've barely given it a thought or a mention since then

The next couple of days are pivotal.
I am sure Putin thought this would be a cake walk.
If the Ukrainians keep showing him they mean business and hold him off for a couple more days then I think the bitch will order a retreat.

Germany: very nice gesture to postpone a primetime show by 15 minutes
Quote:

After a week's Corona break, Joachim Llambi is finally back in his regular seat on the "Let's Dance" jury. The 57-year-old juror is certain: "It's going to be great tonight." But as much as he is looking forward to the exciting hours of the live show, his thoughts are also on the frightening situation in Ukraine. "I find this very sad for everyone who is involved there and especially for our professional dancers, who have some relatives and friends in this region," says Llambi in the "Point 12" interview. However, the juror is sure that "Let's Dance" can also help in this difficult time. So why he is really looking forward to the evening, he explains above in the video.

Dancing should be in the foreground
A few hours before the live show, "Let's Dance" juror Joachim Llambi expresses his honest thoughts – and certainly from the soul of many fans: "It's a very depressing situation, you have to say that. We didn't expect all this in this form." But the 57-year-old is sure that the colorful distraction of "Let's Dance" can also help some in this difficult time – at least for a few hours: "I think we should continue in some form, that's what our dancers want too."

"Let's Dance" launch postponed by 15 minutes on February 25
How much the dance couples are happy about the return of the juror and for which celebrity the dream of the "Dancing Star" is dreamed up in the end, RTL will show on Friday, February 25 from 8:30 pm – and in parallel in the livestream on RTL+.

the week 1 show of let's dance germany postponed by 15 minutes, extra attention for the crisis in Ukraine, very nice words from Herr Llambi  especially since they there also have pro dancers from Russia, Ukraine taking part

No too many Tanks drove into Ukraine this morning
and Fighter Jets are fast.

when it comes to fighting in cities. It can be very tricky. Do the russian troops just level everything without regard to to innocent bystanders or do they surround them and starve them out or do they fight street by street

They can also Kill Ukraine Troops

A fighter Jet can shoot them all super fast.

I think that would risk pushing the Russian civilian population too far to be honest, Putin does need some plausible deniability with them in having claims to being "justified and in the right". Not a huge amount, but some.

I think starving is an option someone on a call in this morning said the Russians were shooting at any moving cars with no questions ...

Alf 25-02-2022 01:40 PM

Is this real? (read the subtitles)

Is this from that bridge incident you mentioned Arista?

Russia bans British airlines from its airspace

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-60505417

[British airlines have been banned from landing
at Russia's airports and from crossing its airspace,
the Russian civil aviation regulator has said.

Russia said the move was a response to
"the unfriendly decisions by the UK aviation authorities".]
