He was president of the United States of America until the UNDemocratic party cheated and used fraud to steal the election in 2020.

If he goes up to debate, he puts Commie La Harris on an equal level with him, which she can never be, being the Marxist Leninist that she is.

Plus he has already trounced her in the previous debate, along with the loony left so called fact checkers in the pay of the UNDemocratic party

It would be better to tell her Yes
but on FoxNewsHD
which she stated she would never do.

it's the VP debate in a couple of weeks. Normally, no-one cares about them, but if Vance really bombs, it may force Trump to rethink the debate strategy.

It's really all down to the polls. Nothing is really shifting them much and early voting starts next week, so to a large extent, it's too late now other than knocking on doors and mobilising the vote

Maru 13-09-2024 02:04 PM

Early voting begins Oct 21st for us (a Monday). I'm going in that day to get it over with if I can help it. I almost never vote on actual Election Day.

i just heard yesterday that early voting starts next week in some states

All the strategies that come into play in america for individual states just fascinates me, it's so much more interesting than the uniform policy across the uk

Yes, I prefer EV to mail in ballots. I find it really convenient also because there's rarely a line (but plenty of individual polls) and I'm usually in and out within 15 minutes. Our IDs have a barcode/strip for cardreaders so they just scan/record them and we sign digitally. If I went on Election Day, I wouldn't be waiting forever per say (depends on the polling station though) but there would be a wait for sure.

They have the estimated wait time on their map online and it's very accurate. They have someone at the door updating it. So if a polling station is busier than usual, we can just go to another one. Our stations are all electronic. We still have mail-in, but they're more like absentee. So mainly elderly and people who will be out of town or who are unable to leave home. The elderly almost always do mail-in. But they're also an easy target for door-to-door canvas. We have more than enough polling places also, even during EV weeks. Voting here is very easy.

Edit: There is something nice about seeing your own vote go into the machine in person... versus mail in...

SpaceX, an American company, just completed the first-ever commercial
spacewalk, the farthest from Earth in over 50 years. Yet, no recognition or
appreciation from the President.

For the far left Democratic party, politics always comes first, not America.

He has far too much support.

I know this is for the easily led, but Trump is so far in front.

Most of the sensible undecided saw that Trump once again went into the Lions den and all Harris had was lies about him. Lies, lies, and more lies.

Lies is all they've ever had on Trump.

They tried to put him in prison, they tried to shoot him dead, but he keeps driving forward.

He’s yet to be sentenced for his many many convictions. When will these people see sense. It’s unhinged.

That debate the other night was atrocious on him. Flailing around, hurling insults instead of actually behaving like a real human being. You can have a better conversation with a four year old.

It’s only the mentally challenged that support him. You can’t tell me or the world otherwise.

Maru 13-09-2024 10:42 PM

This is easily the most covered debate I've ever seen that had the least amount of substance.

bots 13-09-2024 10:43 PM

We can argue over it until election day, but the margin of error makes it such that the race is too close to call. In that circumstance it means that whoever mobilises their vote the most (ie turn out) is going to win. It may not end up being a close vote going in either direction but really, now, we wont know until the votes are counted.

Keeping up engagement and making sure people get their votes in, is what it's all about now as early voting starts in some states next week

debates dont usually have a lot of substance, its more about peoples perception of the candidates on the stage. I looked at it and saw quite a lot of substance from Harris, what i didn't see was Trump attack her in any telling way, maybe thats more what you mean, in that she really wasn't put on the spot, the way she put Trump on the spot

I mean relative to the media coverage. It's been overkill.

Don't you like Putin?

He is as undemocratic as it comes.

I won't even try to predict the outcome or current levels of support. That part is theater. I'm just hoping for a landslide one direction so that least we can avoid several years of serious cheating claims.

Reporter: "Madam Vice President, what is your opinion on the prospect of Biden possibly allowing Ukraine to use long-range weapons to bomb Russia?"

Kamala: "Soo... I was raised as a middle class kid... "

she repeats that to reaffirm she does not come from a silver spoon family like Trump. She has had plenty to say on Ukraine already, lets be fair at least

…Pope Francis is not a fan of either Kamala or Donald and has apparently said that the choice of the American people is ‘the lesser of two evils’…but hasn’t really stated who the evil lesser would be…it’s like a game show result where the public decide…?…

…he’s condemned Trump’s immigration policies and Kamala’s abortion stance of pro choice…

…well yes…stretch his head over into politics and he’ll get it wobbled, like you’ve just done……let that be a lesson to all Popes out there…

MTVN 14-09-2024 10:35 AM

Fair enough from the Pope, think a lot of people would agree that both candidates are very flawed

Be interesting what he would have said if Biden was still running as he's a practicing Catholic yet fine with abortion
