Carlos was amazing, it's hard to believe he's only 21 and that good. He has a very good temperament too, a really nice guy.

I don't know why, but I just can't take to him. I had this with Federer when I was a kid, and then he started to grow on me, so maybe Alcatraz will do a similar thing for me. |

They reckon he could be the best ever if he avoids serious injuries Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

Federer was probably my favourite- perfection Crazy that he went on to father two sets of twins Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

Obviously the equal pay thing is dumb I'll agree with you on that, because Tennis is a business at the end of the day, and men's Tennis brings in more revenue than the women's game. Personally I'm preferring the women's game at the moment, but a business isn't going to run itself based on a few random Internet people's opinions. |

And obviously he was a phenomenal player, especially at Wimbledon. |

They all know him far more than I do. |

However there is still a gap in popularity, which a business will take that into account when doing the wage structure. |
meanwhile Caroline Wozniacki has qualified for the 4th Olympics
Raducanu though not competing in the Olympics, but she has a wildcard for Washington |

Shame !! Raducanu would have a chance of Olympic Gold … I am amazed she’s not going Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

its the same court as roland garros, and who is the queen of clay, yup 1Ga Swiatek, i reckon her to be the top favourite in the singles, i wonder how she'll do in mixed doubles with Hurkacz (another top player from poland tbh) |

that evil belarusian Sabalenka really can't lose :idc:
|
Aged 22
and he can not hold it together................ [Britain's Jack Draper vomited on court during a dramatic US Open semi-final defeat by world number one Jannik Sinner. The 22-year-old British number one's breakout run at a Grand Slam tournament ended in a 7-5 7-6 (7-3) 6-2 defeat in New York. In the biggest match of his fledgling career, 25th seed Draper caused problems for Sinner in a tight first set.] https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/tennis/a...s/c049kw6dln5o |

can't believe Queen Jessica is a US Open finalist, now hopefully the evil also can be beaten, this is a slower court than Cinci was where Sabalenka beat her while Jessie still managed to put up a good fight even if the court wasn't in her favor back then
but really that QF win over Iga, sensational and that semi win over Muchova, great recovery from set1 loss with a breadstick (1-6) and also 0-2 behind in set2, showcasing what a fighter she can be :flutter: at this level, compared to her early years very under the radar with the fandom, also after overcoming a very bad knee injury in 2014 which made her fall below top 700 even good luck for the final, my queen |
well fought Jessie
already proud of you for having made the final of the USO this year :flutter: i guess the tennis gods were more in favor of Sabalenka just bad luck also losing 7-5, 7-5 ain't bad at all |
Official Tennis Thread - Part 3
Sooooo just watching a tennis program on telly..
Can’t help but not so many of the top players including the massive , framed world number one are quite manly looking !! So are they naturally born with high testosterone or are they maybe taking additives ? Powerful shoulders with square jaws .. a few look like real handsome guys .. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...185e709d30.jpg https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...f69f9fe06e.jpg https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...c8c47f7af5.jpg https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...1ad906dd25.jpg Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |
