Boris Johnson is on course for a comfortable majority, according to a polling model that accurately predicted the election outcome two years ago.

The Conservatives would win 359 seats, Labour 211, the SNP 43 and the Liberal Democrats 13 if the election were held today, according to a seat-by-seat analysis based on polling by YouGov for The Times.

That result would give Mr Johnson a majority of 68 as he made gains at Labour’s expense, particularly in the Midlands and north of England. Labour would suffer its second-worst postwar defeat, with Jeremy Corbyn’s total two above Michael Foot’s in 1983.

The projected margins of victory are below 5 per cent, however, in at least 30 seats predicted to be Conservative. YouGov cautions that a fall…

You guys have done a really great job if Shutting up the lone Jewish voice on this forum. Well done.

Strangely that's how I feel too, you want your voice heard but advertise the fact you won't listen to others with whom you disagree.
I personally have never said there is not a problem with antisemitism, as a lone voice on here of course you have every right to your opinion it does not however naturally follow that others will agree with that veiw.

I think there's a valid point in that tolerance of certain groups is in the decline to the point where attacks are becoming commonplace, which does smack of regression.

It's important then at this time to be really honest with our selves and acknowledge where this is coming from, whose ideology is it? Where did it originate?

polls have been wrong before, nothing is certain until the votes are counted. All it does is give an indication that labour could do better

To prevent voting apathy.
If they think they are going to win then some voters won’t bother to face the weather come the day of the vote.

I don't agree I think labour are doing better and the polls are wrong.

The stepping up of the slur campaigns as reported today show that there is a worry labour are not as firmly on the back foot as it seems.

The Anti Semite stuff is rightfully bought up constantly, but I think only the most blinkered haters of Corbyn actually think Corbyn is an Anti Semite himself. However he’s still constantly beaten with that that stick by people who couldn’t give a damn about the racism, but just don’t happen to like him.

The Tory party has their share of Islamophobia, anti black and let’s be real anti everyone but themselves. It gets swept under the carpet though by the media and the public. Maybe in most part because their views are unfortunately starting to reflect a larger section of the country which has a great deal of hatred in their veins, or maybe it’s just because the public are just simply brainwashed by the media

So because he has a title, that means his words are worth listening to more than the other countless Rabbis and Jewish leaders that have come out in support of Corbyn/Labour? Why are a portion of Jews being ignored? Doesn’t sound very inclusive to me.
The Chief Rabbi doesn’t speak for all Jews as the Pope doesn’t speak for all catholics

He probably gives as much a ****as any of the others do, There is no evidence he doesnt care,he could have had several reasons why he didnt do it, but lets not let that get in the way,his LBC discussion is much more importaant answering questions from the public, not some staged discussion to try and curry favour with the publc.

yes, boosting his ego here sucking up to people's questions

but most of all, we can now know for a fact when things get too out of his comfort zone, too heated, he chickens out (not a good statistic for a strong, stable leader of britain but he's getting the trollvotes anyway so)

i have common sense, and hate???? it's just the truth but if ur too blindsided with the belief that the tories are the messiahs, and labour is the villain

well not my problem :wavey:

Liam- 29-11-2019 08:55 AM

Boris Johnson and the Tories have always gotten an easy time from the media, seeing as the majority of it is owned by fully fledged, Tory backing and donating billionaires desperate to keep their feet under the government table, it’s just so happens to have reached a new, terrifying level of bias over the last year, that’s why the public looks like the hardest option, because we have to the media’s job for them and hold the leaders to account, especially to Tory ones

Crimson Dynamo 29-11-2019 08:57 AM
