Great rating! Lol 10,000 BC got 900k without plus 1, it had so much promotion etc, the ad even aired on ITV! Very poor, I would expect high 1 million, but 10,000 BC is pretty boring.

Its very 2000 isn't it

They should have stuck 10,000 BC after BB had finished - expecting people to be following two reality shows at the same time is a bit optimistic in my view and it's not as if C5 have the sort of schedule where there wouldn't be room for it anywhere else.
2.6m is good - like Salv says not great compared to the rest of the series so far but still.

Don't know how tonight will do. It's clear by ratings when footie is on, that there are more males than usual tuning in this year, as the ratings have dropped when football is on. Usually, BB is unaffected by footie (unless its a big game). When the footie has been, there has been a huge +1 rating for the show.

Tonight Liverpool is playing, granted, it's not the biggest game ever, but clashing with the eviction, CBB will be dented a bit I think.

Then for the final, the Six Nations Wales vs England will be on. Looking at the last time it was on, it garnered around 7m, so that could dent the final.

Yup, something about Emma not speaking to Brian about the decision. Who knows what really went on she was obvs just backing up her best mate.

Anyway isn't this a ratings thread? lol.

2.7 tonight I reckon I see the masterminds at Channel 5 have made a double eviction a 60 minute show :/ they really aren't the brainiest bunch are they.

2.6 inc +1

Jake. 05-02-2015 08:50 AM

MotD averaged 4.5m, with over 5m for the match iitself. The quarter hour peak came at 9.15pm when there were 5.7m watching (don't have 5 min peaks).

Midsommer Murders - 4.3m (4.7m)
The Jump - 1.8m (2.1m)

*mazedsalv** 05-02-2015 09:37 AM

Including +1, #CelebrityBigBrother just got the better of it with 2.67m/11.7%.

Not bad against the footie. Tonight being a Thursday has been the weakest competition day for BB, so 2.8m?

mrmattybeck1 05-02-2015 09:39 AM

The Perez show [emoji1]

Jake. 05-02-2015 09:43 AM

Oh, that's a bit better then.. Makes me laugh the even in the winter with a bunch of celebs, The Jump is getting less viewers than BB was at its lowest point on Channel 4

Anything over 1m is successful for c4 at the moment

daniel-lewis-1985 05-02-2015 12:57 PM

With such a big eviction you would expect it to be around 3 million but I guess that shows how well the show has been doing when a 2.67 rating is jut meh.

Seriously what do we think the final is going to get now? Its far less predictable than a few weeks ago where we were all pretty confident it could hit 4 million.

Im thinking around 3.3 now so a 600k increase on what its currently settled at.

Loukas 05-02-2015 01:02 PM

i already guess 4m for the final but i'm not as confident anymore.. i'm going to go with 3.4m

4m no way it hasn't got that since c4 days 3.5m I reckon

emmetmcl 05-02-2015 01:30 PM

For the final; I'd say around 2.9million; I can't see that many more people tuning in, overnight. It'll probably get 3.6 official though imo.

Maxxie. 05-02-2015 05:15 PM

Hopefully the final will get more than the launch or alexander's walking. I'm not sure on 4m but over 3.8 sounds great, maybe even 3.9. I predict it will be the 2nd highest rating of c5 days.

The concept is very good, but its boring, its need to be more like BB, where they vote each other off, because t could be a great show but there something missing.

Will. 06-02-2015 11:52 AM

2.63 including +1 12.3%

Pretty good

Yeah same, but it's good for an aftermath eviction show.
