…I also enjoyed Bryan Brown’s character a lot, he’s always a great watch and isn’t really featured in very much I’ve seen…I thought the whole thing was so well cast…

ahhh Bryan Brown, i knew i recognised him

It's actually the 2nd thing I've watched him in the last couple of days, he's also in Kandahar with Gerard Butler. But you should try that TV show if you have Netflix, Boy Swallows Universe, it's a great watch

What TV series are you currently watching/following?

I sadly finished Yellowstone boxset last night so I need to find another series to take my mind off life itself .

Not sure wether I’ll go for something new like

Sons of Anarchy or rewatch a tried and trusted favourite like Sopranos or Deadwood or Peaky Blinders

It’s too soon for Game of Thrones again as it takes about 18 months for a series to completely disappear from my memory ..

Yes it’s true ..

After a couple of years I can rewatch a series and not have a clue as to the storyline.. I think I’m kinda blessed to be honest .

The negative side is that it also applies to everything else in life including my family !

I have virtually no recollections of our kids growing up or any family holidays

:(

Just watched the first 10 minutes of Justified

Looks to have a lot of potential

…I have heard good things of Sons of Anarchy so that might be worth a look, Zizu….I’ll also echo Niamh’s recommendation of Boy Swallows Universe, its an excellent watch….

Omg I watched the first episode last night !!

It was decent but the whole idea just seemed a bit too far fetched … so it’s on the back burner for now

I've been rewatching some old episodes of Last of the Summer Wine on YouTube. Mainly the Foggy years tbh. I enjoy the nostalgia and the tweeness of it all.

Spoiler:

They chopped a child's finger off?

Now you've got me interested.

But seriously deranged content like that rarely happens on TV.

I'm at the halfway point of Season 2 of Hannibal, and again it's another brilliant Season, if anything it may be slightly sharper in some areas compared to Season 1.

I was sad at
Spoiler:

Beverly's death, as I did like her character.
but overall a very good Season.

I've also been watching two huge Anime series back in the day in Black Lagoon and Clannad.

Black Lagoon - I've done the first 8 episodes of Season 1, and tbh it reminds me of Cowboy Bebop, but on an acid trip.

Plus whoever animated Revy deserves an award.

But seriously the biggest strength of Black Lagoon is the cast, especially Revy, Dutch and Rock, all three characters contribute hugely into why this Anime is so entertaining imo.

It's a very OTT show, so it won't be for everyone, but if you're okay with how OTT it is then you'll have a blast.

Clannad - I've watched the first 5 episodes of Clannad, and it's very out of my comfort zone, but I do like it so far, I like how well written the characters are, and I do like the mix of Slice Of Life, Drama and a tinge of Comedy (which there's more of than the fans tend to sell it as) it's been a pleasant surprise so far for me.

I do for some reason like the ED to Clannad a lot as well.:joker:

Although the Music is really good on Black Lagoon, Madhouse (the Studio that made Death Note's Anime) really nailed the Music again here.

Basically in a rare scenario, I'm actually happy with all of the Shows that I'm currently watching.:joker:

If you have a Netflix account I'd recommend checking out Hannibal.

Especially if you've got a flair for Psychological themes and gore.

Oh I started watching that on Netflix as well but they weren't up to date with seasons, I must look for it somewhere else. I think I maybe only watched the 1st season, i can't remember maybe it was 2
