Unless Phil Bump works for betfred or William Hill, I'm afraid we'll have to ignore him :smug:

"odds are certainly not the be all and end all, but they are relevant"

If odds are irreverent, then what's the point in having them, ever? And they're not just based on the money laid out.

Not just an endorsement either, she stated ‘another 9/11 will be around the corner if Biden wins’

I mean, that sounds like a threat of terrorism does it not?

To be fair, there are better ways to spend time than going on about "white privilege" and critical race theory.

Trump and Corbyn for example have both had things from decades ago bandied about as reasons note to vote for them, so why should Biden be any different

We know what trumps were, draft dodger, rapist, bankrupt, sexist, tax evaders. What were the reasons Corbyn's shouldn't be voted for?

I know that invites accusations of 'percieved' reasons, so to avoid that im going to ask for actual evidence. As seen in the footage of Biden and the evidence we have of Trumps past, what actual footage or direct quote is there to suggest there was a genuine reason not to vote for Corbyn?

Bookies want people to still think it's a 2 horse race and trump has an equal chance because that's how bookies make money. When people lose, they win.

Everyone is saying it'll be close, the odds reflect that

Biden is definitely getting the most votes but it all comes down to which states he wins

the popular vote isn't actually relevant in the same way that it's irrelevant here. The election system is an agreed process

Denver 06-09-2020 02:39 PM

Biden needs to target some of the big States that are worth lots of points

I think it's pretty rare.

Swan 06-09-2020 02:48 PM

Actually yeah it's very rare, only GWB in 2000 and Trump 2016 for well over 100 years

A president serving an 8-year term without winning the popular vote on either election has never happened before in US political history, this will be a first (assuming he wins the electoral college and loses the popular vote again, which I sadly think is the most likely scenario).

IMO given that unlike the UK, the US is a two-party election... this heavily indicates a broken system.

Sure the reporter was muffled
but then he spoke louder
so all was well
