it does seem strange that there wasn't a word about it until city showed some interest

Fortuna Sittard has set their sights on two more players
serbian forward Marko Lazetic from AC Milan and belgian Robbie Decostere from Cercle Brugge |
while sending two talents out on loan, Tunahar Tasci moves to MVV on loan

It is being reported that Manchester City midfielder Kalvin Phillips is a target for both Liverpool and Bayern Munich.
The 27-year-old has previously expressed a desire to fight for his place in Manchester, having joined the club from Leeds United last summer for £45m. |
Ngl, completely forgot about him.

Feyenoord got Dinamo Zagreb forward Luka Ivanusec, and are also closing in attacking midfielder Ondrej Lingr from Slavia Prague

Manchester City’s move to sign Lucas Paqueta from West Ham United is now totally off.
An £80m deal had been agreed in principle last week before West Ham were informed on Wednesday that the player was the subject of an FA investigation into alleged betting breaches. There was a very small chance on Friday morning that the transfer could still go ahead but there is now no prospect of that happening. |
City have just signed some bloke, Doku, from Rennes. Never heard of him tbh. £55m
|
he is the replacement for Mahrez i think. Now apparently, it looks like palmer will be sold off. There must be something not right there for Pep to be getting rid of him
Why is Paqueta being investigated for betting scandal? The investigation started when a larger-than-usual number of bets were placed in Brazil on Lucas Paqueta receiving a yellow card in West Ham’s home game against Aston Villa on 12 March 2023. Paqueta was shown a yellow card by referee Chris Kavanagh in the 70th minute of the 1-1 draw for a challenge on John McGinn. The bets were reported to the International Betting Integrity Association who alerted FIFA and the FA. |

Sounds like he’s likely to get an even longer ban than Toney ! He’s only young so I guess a year out isn’t the end of the world .. He’ll be back in time to get a massive transfer move and for the World Cup Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

He’s something different .. they won’t be as predictable if he’s running through midfield https://youtu.be/wHBFzvAZL6I Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

Fortuna Sittard becoming more and more concrete for AC Milan forward Marko Lazetic to sign him on loan for this season
with Paul Gladon now leaving the club for FC Noah, opens up more doors for Lazetic |
Benzema anyone ?
[emoji599] Nuno Espírito Santo has reportedly informed the Al-Ittihad board that Karim Benzema does not fit into his tactical style. [emoji102] He wasn't keen on signing the Ballon d'Or winner in the first place, which is leading to tension between the two men. The Portuguese manager also rejected Benzema's request for the captain's armband. [emoji2399][emoji777] Therefore, the Frenchman is 'not comfortable' working in the current environment at the Saudi club, perhaps opening the door to a shock transfer. The funding deal everton were hoping for has completely broken down, so they must now be in serious risk of going bust

They were discussing Everton on the radio earlier and said that as well as needling a goal scorer they also lack a creative number 10 type player .. Odd as a couple of years ago they were being criticised for having 4 number ten type players in the squad .. Can’t recall who they were but one was Nordic :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |
done deal
Paul Gladon moving to FC Noah Yerevan, the current no.1 team in Armenia i wish him well and if he wants to return to Sittard some day, the door here is always open if you ask me :wavey: we here are a very heartwarming club |

[emoji599][emoji378] BREAKING: MO SALAH WANTS TO LEAVE LIVERPOOL!
Al-Ittihad will offer him a salary that will make him the HIGHEST PAID player in the Saudi Pro League. [emoji1210][emoji857] The Saudi club have already met his representatives in Doha and will offer him more wages than Cristiano Ronaldo. They are convinced that Salah will be attracted to the prospect of playing in a Muslim country alongside his huge salary. (Source: @relevo) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

And, maybe they didn't wanna move up north after being down south? In Caicedo's life time, who has been the more successful team? I dunno why people are getting so arsey about Caicedo going to Chelsea over Liverpool? Chelsea had been chasing him a while, he was set on Chelsea. Liverpool made a last min bid. |

i love people being triggered over Chelsea's transfer antics
but tbh i don't care now its no longer a russian in charge, but a great successful american :flutter: i love Boehly's vision |
It's not like Chelsea swooped in last minute for him either, the interest had been well known for months. Liverpool came in last min and tried snatch him. And you know what, that's fine, Chelsea have done it in the past, so im not blaming Liverpool. But you get all arsey about him moving to Chelsea when he made it clear he wanted to join Chelsea, before Liverpool put the bid in.
Lavia is a strange one, it's a different story, and i do agree he would have been better off going to Liverpool for more games. But again, money is a big factor. |
