i have a note for the redway
eastenders is right to have its own subway. when ever you say soap emmerdale enters my head, god heaven and the pope. i have been been brain washed because i only used to wact EE and the other 2 i squashed. but now its the overtake they slaughter EE now nod your head and shake. they are not all doom and gloom they move with the times unlike the Folowers 1980's living room. you wont ever get me back Eastenders not even if i was more desperate then the Wonga lenders. i have made my bed and in it i will sleep emmerdale is the best because what they sew they reap. corri is second even if this is a little odd the 2 i really hate are sean and that todd. but it is not at all as draining because in the street the sun is out and its not always raining. please take heed and take my advice copy emmerdale formula its booming like the trade in vice. |
Viewing figures for the ITV soaps are crazy hard to come by ever since DS stopped the daily ratings update so I'll just list EastEnders' own (from last week).
28/03: 5.77m (25.2%) 29/03: 6.23m (29.4%) 31/03: 6.09m (32%) 01/04: 6.1m (29.9%) It seems 6 million's about the norm now. |
The average is 6.5-7mill in the officials

Good share
|
17/05: 6.9m (37%).
Narrowly missing out on the 7s but that share is terrific for 2016 standards. |
Expected more tbh, but at the same time I don't think many people knew she was gonna off herself last night

20/05: 5.8m (31.3%) Decent enough share for Thursday's eppie. |

Not looking bad for any at all.

Genuinely have no clue how Enders is doing that well.
|
The concept of ratings in itself is dead on its knees but I’ll bump this thread if anyone wants me to post ratings trends for episodes from previous years/eras when ratings were still relevant. Anyone interested?

4.3 million for Easties on Tuesday night. That's the new norm.
