London underground is on strike. Some of them were running but not my line.
I have to get up early. I hate to be late to work. |
Get one of them bicycle men that have a carriage on the back
there always seem to be millions of them waiting around all over london |
To be honest, I do not like people on bicycles when I am driving.
Because I am a nervous driver so I do not like overtaking bicycles. Today after all, this morning, I walked from Kings-cross to Holborn where I worked. it took just 30 minutes. I was not late to work luckily. Tonight the station was still closed, luckily I took a bus, but it took more than 50 minutes to get to Kings-cross because of the traffic jam. (normally it is less than 10 minutes I think) Lots of people got off the bus and walked but I did not have energy to walk. I would cycle if I can use the special lane for bicycles though. I do like cycling basically.:) |
What the ACTUAL **** has Simon Neil of Biffy Clyro done to his HAIR???
|
How much of a *******ing bellend do you have to be to go watch a film at the cinema and be noisy throughout the whole thing!! I've just been to watch The Last Exorcism and some *****s at the back were talking, making stupid remarks, giggling the whole way through, the whole cinema could hear, at one point some bloke who was sitting nowhere near them shouted (rightly) to them to keep it down because they were ruining the atmosphere for everyone. Gotta hate it when you're in a film with idiots like that, why even go watch it in the first place if you're just gonna sit there doing that!?
It was a good film as well, although that really pissed me off lol |
I can not remember when I went to the cinema last.
Even I do not remember the name of the film!:( |

When I went to cinema the first time (1974) in London, I remembered we had to stand and sing a national anthem. 100% sure it was cinema not theatre as I would not be able to afford to go to theatre then. |

I do not think I know Lauren, I have heard her name though. Was her avatar pink shoe? |
I have just found our members, lily and lili, are actually the same person.
I have been wondering when lili is coming back but she was here all the time. Wombai and I were talking about her long time ago that we miss lili. |
Recently Joe44 (dirtyvileHARRYuk) posted about Freddie Mercury who died in 1991. Millions of fans are still missing him even now.
He was died of AIDS. I remember something about a word AIDS. When I worked as a sales ledger clerk in a small company around late 1970s, we never heard of disease called AIDS. As we did not have a computer, we had to take documents (one month sales invoices) to a company called AIDS in order to process statements to our customers for us. We used to say "Who is going to AIDS this month?" like that. Accounting Information Development Services. |
Recently ITV's morning show had new presenters.
I do not get used to them yet. My husband said he (one of two) is like comedian. I was busy preparing to go to work, but I stopped and looked at the male presenter carefully as I did not hear him being funny. Then I knew what my husband meant! http://u.goal.com/95200/95227_news.jpghttp://www.rankopedia.com/CandidatePix/19303.gif Well, most members would be too young to know Benny Hill. |
I decided to walk morning and evening from Kings Cross to Holborn where I work to loose weight.
It will take about 30 minutes each. When I said to my husband about it, I was expecting him to say I did not need to. But he looked at me and said. "It is a very good idea!" :( |
I had a strange dream last night.
There is a dream thread about ourselves but my dream was not myself so I am posting in here. Yesterday evening my neighbour popped in and we chatted about Strictly Come Dancing. We always watch together when the season starts. Last night we were particularly talking about Anne Whitcomb. Why she has to make her fool of herself,,,,,that staff. Then Ann Whitcomb appeared in my dream the evening. Actually she was a trained classical ballet dancer and nobody knew it. Eventough she has not got a figure, she can dance beautifully and we are stunned !!:laugh2: |

I don't know her though. She seems to be a past favourite who has moved on. Happens a lot on forums. |
