I use to have Sandy to do that. She seemed a bit cramped one day so I decided to take her to our local park. She didn't have a collar so I just decided to use some bed sheets and wrap them around her neck. I made a luxury looking scarf for her so that she was all wrapped up warm, but at the same time under my control. I bought some toothpaste for animals so that her teeth were all nice too. I brushed down her fur and everything. Anyway, we get to the park and Sandy is still shocked by her near miss with this manic driver (yes, we nearly got ran over by a lady in a mini-cooper). There were lots of little kids in the park and they were all staring at Sandy in amazement. I had a joke with one of them and said that she bites, but the mother of this child got really arsey and said that I should take my wife home. At the time I dropped the apple I was eating in shock, and forgot I was holding the end of Sandy's scarf in the other hand. Sandy went AWOL and had a drunk man with a bottle of cider in one hand and a stick in the other chasing her around the park. I shouted “Sandy” at the top of my voice lots of times, but she was ignoring me. I ran after the drunk trying to stop him, but I lost my footing and went head first into a bin. The police then arrived along with the RSPCA and took Sandy away from me.
They said she was an illegal immigrant so I couldn't keep her. I was heartbroken.
Shipped back off to some country now. Happened months a go, but it still upsets me.
You can just imagine her standing on some filthy road in the dessert, with a man bargaining off Sandy for the sake of a couple of children.
