What are we being fooled by?

Jim has been by far the most interesting and charismatic housemate this series, that's why people are enjoying watching him and voting for him and that's why he's the odds on favourite to win the show.

There's nothing there to be fooled about.

Most of them just get up on the stage and share their vile and obcene thoughts. Look at Russell Brand live on stage.

they arn't though they are just normal people but everyone expects them to be funny all the time. so when they are not people think they are serious.
you cant be funny all the time. doesn't mean they are serious people just normal

He's drawing attention to how considerate he's being. He's walking away from arguments. He's pretending to care and be sensitive.
He's not like that.

You know him personally then do you? or you just going by hearsay?

BOTS is so biased against Jim it's not even funny. It's starting to reming me of the way they treated Aaron. :fist:

Nemo123 25-01-2014 10:42 PM

Jim made a sitcom in the 80's, Around the elephant and castle, or some such, it was called.
It premise was he was playing himself. A loveable cockney cheeky chappie.
It was fairly popular, I remember it first hand. Thing is, he's had practice pretending to be nice, or acting the nice guy, which is what he's doing now.

He's sexist and homophobic, and made some racist shows back when he started.

Isn't that a bark?

You can also add bloody good big brother contestant to your list.

Nemo123 25-01-2014 10:49 PM

Oh well. I thought most viewers of this show were women and shirtlifters.

Shirtlifters?

Is that a shoplifter who specializes in only lifting shirts?

It's a reminder of what he called Brian Dowling, the darling of BB fans, only a few years ago

Shirtlifter?

Really, you don't think that's offensive to gay men?

Some gay men don't find it offensive, everyone is different in what they find offensive,i mean even Christmas is offensive to some.

Well, it's like the n-word. Context is all important. But I don't think Jim Davidson has a license to use it, not in the way he called Brian Dowling one.
It's all about context.

Personally, I couldn't care less about any of his isms and ias, only thing which I don't like about him is his patriotism, nationalism, and jingoism. He appeals to the Lowest Common Denominator: Sun readers.
