I swear some people from TiBB should write for AHS

TVLine has confirmed exclusively that Neil Patrick Harris and his real-life husband, David Burtka, are set to guest-star on FX’s anthology smash.

Harris will appear in Freak Show‘s final two episodes as a chameleon salesman, while Burtka will turn up in the season finale in what I’m told is a sexy storyline with Jessica Lange’s batty chanteuse.

Earlier this month, Horror Story puppetmaster Ryan Murphy — who invited AHS super-fan (and good friend) NPH on the show via Twitter back in August — told TVLine of Harris’ forthcoming Freak Show stint: “He had very specific ideas for what he wanted to do, and I had very specific ideas, so we’re working on melding those.”

I personally can't stand these 2 guys but good for them.

Marsh. 29-10-2014 06:09 PM

NPH always seems so smug.

Braden 29-10-2014 06:21 PM

AHS is becoming a bit to 'showy' for my liking. Production (well RM) focus too much on adapting glamour to the show, as oppose to making appropriate decisions that aren't unnecessary.

Neil Patrick Harris was only chosen to be on the show for the sake of it. The fact that his bf got a part too is simply laughable, but I suppose I'll refrain a little until I see them in action. It was the same with Stevie Nicks last season. Although Misty had an obsession with her, Stevie's appearance wasn't really needed at all.

Lily Rabe to appear on 'American Horror Story: Freak Show,' reprise 'Asylum' role!!!

The American Horror Story installments of Asylum and Freak Show just became even more connected: EW has exclusively learned that Lily Rabe will be appearing on Freak Show and reprising her Asylum role as nun Sister Mary Eunice. The actress, who has appeared in every season of AHS and is currently starring in the ABC midseason series The Whispers, will shoot her spot this weekend.
The reason for Sister Mary’s return involves Pepper (Naomi Grossman) and how she ended up going from the freak show to Asylum‘s titular institution, Briarcliff. Rabe’s appearance will be on AHS‘ 10th episode, which is their big winter cliffhanger.
EW has also confirmed reports that Neil Patrick Harris and his husband, David Burtka, will indeed appear on Freak Show this season but in separate episodes.

Smithy 29-10-2014 09:18 PM

Honestly it seems a bit dumb bringing her back as sister Mary, like pepper is a ****** she wouldn't say anything anyway, but surly sister Mary would notice that her head nun looks a lot like the bitch running the freak show :umm2: and whenever lana/kit arrived that they looked liked freaks she once met

Indifferent towards Sr. Mary Eunice coming back.

thanks for the spoiler jerk!

Braden 30-10-2014 01:33 PM

Best episode yet. I'm glad they've reverted back to hour long episodes.

I felt like so much happened this episode, and the pacing was good. There's more character development too.

Spoiler:

elsa's backstory was so ****ed up :worry:

that was the best part of the ep imo :flutter:

Braden 30-10-2014 03:46 PM

I squirmed so ****ing hard at

Spoiler:

the scene with the nail embedded toilet

Fetch The Bolt Cutters 30-10-2014 03:49 PM

same :umm2:

Spoiler:

the snuff video thing is the most disturbing thing they have ever done on the show imo

Such a good episode. I'm okay with the silly Mordrake stuff being that it was how Murphy decided to delve into Elsa, Twisty, and Ethel's backgrounds.

Jamesy 30-10-2014 06:02 PM

Dandy at the end :worry:

A great episode. Good pacing. I wasn't a fan of the Mordrake stuff at the end of last weeks episode but I was fine with it this episode, it being used as a tool to discover characters past was okay with me.

Spoiler:

I enjoyed Twisty's background story although I'm disappointed he was killed off so soon. I think they could have kept him going a little longer.

Also I'm not a fan of Evan looking set to be in a love story again. He's a great actor and really it would have been nice after four seasons to not see him in that kind of role. It seems a bit unnecessary at this point.

Firewire 30-10-2014 06:04 PM

Fantastic episode, that's the kind of darkness I want throughout. The first two episodes were incredibly bright. Looking like the season could be great now.

Marsh. 30-10-2014 10:52 PM

Twisty having mummy issues.

swinearefine 30-10-2014 11:11 PM

why did half of the stuff in the preview not happen? like dell with a gun, ethel being ominous about mordrake taking someone :suspect: good episode either way, especially the scenes with mordrake. Anyone else disappointed in the lack of Twisty/Dandy banging tho? I'd like to think it happened, but was just too beautiful and pure for a horror show.

Tom4784 31-10-2014 12:26 AM

It was the best episode so far although I don't know where it can go from here.

Spoiler:

Dandy's too annoying and isn't imposing to be the main villain while Dell simply isn't that interesting either. I've got a horrible feeling that we'll go back to Coven's style of story telling IE random **** happens for random reasons and nothing really matters. The townspeople will probably go back to hating the freaks in the next episode for some reason and the story will end up floundering like Coven's did.

I like that they knew to end Twisty's storyline before he became boring as Ryan Murphy is usually the king of running things into the ground.

Finally, good for Dora for scalping Dandy one last time before she died </3.

Tbh, that's how I feel about this show in general every season. They throw a tonne of sh*t at the wall and hope some of it sticks. Some of it does (Lana Winters stuff/Violet's storyline) and some of it is meaningless/pointless rubbish (aliens crap).
