I didn't see the interview you're talking about, but if he made that admission then he also needs to go, along with Johnson.

He admitted that he was there drinking beers and Rayner was also there but when they officially denied everything a while back .. well that was simply a mistake .. he repeated it a few times then said that mistakes do happen in offices ..

It was all a bit confusing tbh

She let him off lightly, sadly

Thanks for trying to clear it up. There is obviously a difference between one and 50 if we accept that 1 is closer to a mistake, and 25+ is closer to a pattern, but once was too much when we were all living through sh1t at the time. Bin all the phony leaders off, and get new ones.

to me its similar to the tories. they had a do, they want to pass it off as a work event, others see it differently. What I object to is the persistent denial that Rayner attended. That was a lie, not a mistake

Boris the buffoon knew full well what he was doing, hardly mistakes. Anyway he'll be voted in again as he's still got a fan base that think he's "funny" and can "do no wrong" .

Feels like this is some distraction technique to shift the blame from Boris . But non of the MPs should be breaking the rules in the first place.

If people want Starmer to stand down then Boris should aswell, but people would rather forgive Boris instead ,even though he's the PM who's supposed to be running the country.

yes I saw the interview with Sophie, he said it was a mistake to say she wasn't there, I mean how many times did they have takeaways and drinks after work you wonder, when everyone else was locked up at home

Cherie 01-05-2022 05:24 PM

I'm going to have to vote for the Greens :worry:

Sophie did try pull him up on that ‘untruth’ but as I said he just said that was a mistake and mistakes do happen ..

Whether or not Rayner was there, really doesn’t change the fact that due to the rules at the time that campaign meeting happened, they didn’t break any rules at all, this just happens to be another tactic by Tory donor owned media, doing their best to take the shine off of their lord and saviour, it’s absurd.

Now why they would lie about Rayner being there I actually have no idea, that’s completely odd but honestly? That’s the least offensive thing a politician has done all month so idc.

I really wish people would stop throwing frivolous things around to see what sticks, because it actually pains me to defend Tory-adjacent Starmer

The fact that Starmer , Rayner and the Labour Party all lied about the ‘party’ throws doubt on everything else they all say imho

It’s like I’ve said all along .. it appears that all politicians are liars , immoral and corrupt .. and it’s been like this for the last 50 years at least

its the same as with the tories. The police refused to investigate and were eventually forced into doing something when more and more evidence was given to them. It's no surprise that criminals get away with it when the police cant be arsed to do their jobs
