Plus the two fullbacks seem to have lost the ability to cross the ball ..
It’s all so bizarre .

Not long ago every player appeared to be playing well and even improving now it’s the opposite

Stunned at Liverpool last night.
Incredible result.

Calderyon 22-01-2021 02:02 PM

Kevin De Bruyne out for at least 4-6 weeks.

Calderyon 22-01-2021 02:04 PM

Also Jamie Vardy has a hernia, out for at least until February 13.

bots 22-01-2021 02:23 PM

liverpool being 6 points off the pace with City and United ahead of them is going to be tricky to come back from

Calderyon 22-01-2021 02:28 PM

Plus on GW 20 Man City faces West Bromwich at away and Manchester United faces Sheffield Utd at home while Liverpool faces Tottenham at away.

So the gap could very well widen to 9 points to Manchester United.

Villa still playing some lovely football ..

I’d put Dean Smith in charge of England NOW !!

At least we’d be playing decent footie

Newcastle are beginning to be in a bit of a trouble.

Its just a comment Nicky...which is the point of the forum.

He's hardly moaning

Nicky91 25-01-2021 08:41 AM

Newcastle are doing well enough

Moan?

It was an observation.

Learn to know the difference.

That same Sheffield who beat Newcastle less than 2 weeks ago?

-----

Newcastle has not scored in their last 3 matches and have only scored 2 goals in their last 7. Their last 5 record is 0 wins, 1 draw and 4 losses. Their last away game win was on November 27th. Their current away record this season is 2 wins, 2 ties and 6 losses.

Last time they scored more than 1 goal was an away game against Leeds on December 16th in which they lost 5-2.

At the moment they are only 7 points away from the relegation zone and Fulham and West Bromwich (and even Sheffield to an extent) are improving somewhat (not much, but could be enough) and are gaining ground, while Newcastle continues to wane. They need to start improving and fast, otherwise they might find themselves relegated.

This Tuesday's match against Leeds is a good opportunity to show it.

Brighton is another team who need to start improving, which they might do as they beat Leeds away 1-0 on January 16th and seem more competitive in matches according to results than Newcastle, West Bromwich, Fulham and Sheffield at the moment.
They just need to turn their draw games to wins. (8 ties currently, most in the league atm)

Calderyon 25-01-2021 05:35 PM

Newcastle is getting Allan Saint-Maxim and Ryan Fraser back in the lineup against Leeds. That will certainly help them.

MTVN 26-01-2021 08:12 PM

Yeah sorry United, you're not winning the league

MTVN 26-01-2021 08:12 PM

Is this gonna be Big Sam's last job?

Sssshhhh

Calderyon 26-01-2021 08:58 PM

Newcastle loses to Leeds 1-2 and next game is against Everton away. And their end schedule does not seem exactly appealing.

Not looking good.

Even with key players out, Manchester City is looking terrifyingly strong.
