Yeah I said before, Russia aren't "cut off" from global news like China is and they will be well aware of the news online and on social media. However of course there will always be a large group of people who are more inclined to trust televised/printed state media than what they see online e.g. the number of people who take Fox / CNN (depending on leaning) as "the truth" and ignore all else. Many people, especially older generations, will trust what they're being shown on the TV news within Russia.

i've spent quite a bit of time in russia and anyone under 60 knows the games putin is playing. They aren't a people that trust anything easily.

Even in the last 5 years it has become very difficult to openly voice dissent. Justice is very harsh and it's not unusual for the police to get their batons out and beat people within an inch of their lives. It's very very difficult there

no need for talks anymore

hopefully kill more russians next few days, weeks

and hold out bit longer, exhaust the russians long enough, and then bring the fight to russia itself and destroy russia entirely

They have to fight the Russians
Sad, as many could be killed.

It's usually the Nordic countries (Finland etc.) that bring the metal to Eurovision, not Russia.

Jolly Good

Alf 25-02-2022 04:34 PM

Alf's fact of the day...

Putin has a twitter account while the former sitting President of the United States had his taken down.

Ukraine seem to be fighting very hard, Russia hasn't really taken control of any big city yet and has suffered massive losses. They probably expected it all to be wrapped up by now

What have they got to do with Russia/Ukraine?? They aren't politicians.

But a few corrections for you:
The young lady is actually a middle aged grifter and proven compulsive liar.
There is currently no evidence that the old man himself sold titles to the Saudis.
The Uncle was forced to make a pay off because the inevitable news about a court case for months on end would disrupt and detract from the Queen’s Jubilee celebrations.

And as I said none of that is anything whatsoever to do with Russia/Ukraine….and none of it makes Corbyn any less a Russian sympathiser and a terrorist hugging, anti - semite scumbag….but as he is irrelevant now anyway I’ll not waste anymore time on him and leave you to your passionate Jeremy obsession. :fan:

I didn't know if they are like China where they control what the sites are. TS clarified that's not the case
